About 1992 Chevrolet Corvette
The 1992 Chevrolet Corvette had a new second-generation LT1 engine, which would remain the Corvette standard for the following four years. It was a 5.7-liter, 350-ci V8, rated at 300 horsepower. The new engine in the aerodynamic C4's were extremely popular and very fun to drive. The ZR-1 retained the power in the family, with its 5.7-liter LT5 V8 rated at 375 horsepower. Chevy did not change its ZR-1 from the previous year, and only 502 were built and sold.
