Good performance, great looking interior/exterior, lots of features, reasonable price. Really slick shifter. Fuel economy isn't great for a compact sedan but I'm not complaining. It's all the car I need and nothing I don't. I would absolutely buy it again.

2.3L has lots of torque, 5 speed is geared well, needs a 6th for hwy though. suspension needs to be a little stiffer. well made, great on fuel, comfortable for a small car, lots of fun to bomb around town.

Had this car for 1 1/2 years, and enjoyed every bit of it. I like the build quality of the Mazda, very solid and feels more continental than Japanese in many aspects. The design of the exterior is still very fresh (mine was a facelifted version) despite it being introduced back in 2004. One of the more sportier looking sedan out in the market. However, I made the mistake of buying the 1.6L version, as the engine was indeed under-powered and consumption suffered. Overall a good car that I still miss sometimes. Very comfortable to drive, practical with large trunk space.

good economical car, reliable, comfortable to drive the sp23 has all the options. easy to park. mine has leather seats. the only expense is this car requires premium unleaded to run. it handles and stops awsome. needs a bit more power.
