This is an example of when its nice, its really nice, when its bad, its really bad. The First generation Panamera offers style, comfort, performance and a grand touring option to the Porsche line up. Driving a nice example of one it offers a fantastic experience with responsive handling, engine and transmission performance. The interior can be well optioned with different styling and comfort features. I have driven many of all of the trims from Base to Turbo S and generally found them to be a solid drivers car. That being said this car will burn your wallet faster than you can blink if you are not careful. You can get a lot of car for around 25-30k but it comes at the cost of expensive maintenance. In addition these cars are approaching more than 10 years old, and will require age related repairs. I would not recommend owning one of these unless you have double the asking price for repairs.

I was torn between the Panamera Turbo and the GTS. After test driving several of each, I decided to go with the GTS. I love it, it reminds me of the Gallardo I owned years ago, but with a few buttons pushed (specifically turning off the sport exhaust and turning of the sports plus option), the car becomes civilized. The GTS is much more of a muscle car, but with incredible Porsche handling and performance. The turbo, was a lot more calm, unless you were engaging the turbos; most of the time, while driving the Turbo at lower RPMs, it was too calm for me. The GTS is approximately .4 seconds slower than the Turbo trim, which I noticed, but barely. The GTS feels faster at lower RPMs, and is definitely tuned more aggressively overall. Whichever model you get: you need the sport exhaust and sport plus option. The tone of the GTS was the best as well. Ive owned a lot of Porsche 911s, and this Panamera really impressed me. I would highly recommend.

Great car to drive in all four seasons. No problems within last 3 years of driving. I just change the oil every 10,000 miles. I truly will recommend this car to my friend or family member. I love this car.

Beautiful car. Handling and acceleration are great. Felt safe and always have control in driving it. This car is a lot of fun. Lots of looks and admiration for the style of the panamera. Nice to have the four doors.

I pretty much love everything about this car, it's a sports car that you can actually drive your friends and family around in comfort. Brakes are huge! Stops on a dime. The boss sound system is unbelievable! 6 disc changer, all discs are loaded right into the player on the dash no having to fiddle with a discs changer in the trunk or under seats. The 3 different suspension setting are all very effective and make a huge difference, this car purs down all roads!
