What should I look for when buying a used 2014 INFINITI Q60?

At 53.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle-history report and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the car has had bodywork or shows signs of wear. Pay close attention to condition, because owner feedback mentions cleanliness and condition concerns, along with limited cargo space when the retractable roof is down.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Q60 comes with leather seating, 18-inch wheels, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a backup camera, Bluetooth hands-free calling, and a USB port. The all-wheel-drive trim adds Snow Mode, while the Q60S adds a sport-tuned suspension, sport steering, sport brakes, 19-inch alloy wheels, a 12-way sport driver’s seat, navigation, and a viscous limited-slip differential.
• Powertrain: The 3.7-liter V6 makes 330 horsepower and pairs with a 7-speed automatic, with rear-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive. Rear-wheel-drive S variants are also available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
• Safety package: The Q60 includes lane-departure warning, forward-collision avoidance, distance-aware cruise control, traction control, Vehicle Dynamic Control, Preview Braking, all-season tires, 4-wheel disc brakes, and a full array of front and side impact airbags.
• Infotainment: The Q60 uses a touchscreen navigation system and avoids the clumsy controller setups found in some rivals. The tech setup is described as easy to use and backed by tactile buttons and controls.

Which 2014 INFINITI Q60 trim should I buy?

The 2014 INFINITI Q60 is offered in 3 trim levels: Q60, All-Wheel-Drive, Q60S.

Here's the short version:

• Q60: This is the value-oriented choice if you want the core luxury-coupe experience with leather seating, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, a backup camera, Bluetooth, and a USB port without moving up the price ladder.
• All-Wheel-Drive: Choose this if you want the added traction and Snow Mode, especially if you drive in winter weather and want a more confidence-inspiring setup.
• Q60S: This is the best-value trim if you want the most complete driving experience, since it adds the sport-tuned suspension, sport steering, sport brakes, 19-inch wheels, navigation, a 12-way sport driver’s seat, and a limited-slip differential.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2014 INFINITI Q60?

This looks like a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you have room to shop carefully rather than rush into the first decent listing.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 71 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.83% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 53.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $13,278, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2014 INFINITI Q60's resale value?

The current average of $14,262 sits slightly above last year's $13,737.

That upward move suggests the Q60 has held value reasonably well for a used luxury coupe. If you plan to sell later, a clean example with strong history and good condition should be easier to position than one with accident history or visible wear.

The year-over-year increase also tells you that buyers are still willing to pay for this model's mix of style, power, and everyday usability. For a future seller, that means presentation and documentation matter: the better your maintenance and condition story, the stronger your resale position is likely to be.

Is the 2014 INFINITI Q60 safe?

The 2014 INFINITI Q60 earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

It includes lane-departure warning, forward-collision avoidance, distance-aware cruise control, Preview Braking, traction control, Vehicle Dynamic Control, all-season tires, 4-wheel disc brakes, and a full array of front and side impact airbags.

That gives you a fairly robust safety toolkit for the class, especially if you value driver-assistance features in a used luxury coupe. The main thing to remember is that safety equipment can vary by trim, so you should confirm the exact feature set on the specific car you are considering.

Should I buy a 2014 INFINITI Q60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2014 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2014 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Prices are up 3.83% year-over-year.
• The expert summary emphasizes that this is a rare luxury coupe that delivers spirited driving while still working as a competent daily driver.

The bottom line: If you want a stylish, engaging luxury coupe that still fits everyday use, the 2014 is a strong target year. If you are especially price-sensitive, focus on the cleanest examples in the lower end of the range and be willing to compare several listings before deciding.
