How much does the 2015 Dodge Dart cost?

Prices are up 2.19% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 340 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2015 Dodge Dart a good car?

Yes — the 2015 Dodge Dart earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its sporty feel, comfortable interior, and fuel efficiency. The Dart also gets credit for its roomy cabin and solid, substantial feel, which fits its appeal as a budget-friendly compact with more space than you might expect.

For shoppers who want a compact car that feels bigger inside and can still be fun in everyday driving, that combination is the main draw. 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2015 Dodge Dart reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Owner feedback points to a car that can be dependable in daily use, with praise for its comfortable interior, fuel efficiency, and overall driving enjoyment. The expert notes also describe it as a solid, substantial car with a straightforward, budget-minded character.

At the same time, the ownership picture includes some caution flags around transmission problems and electronic gremlins, so a careful used-car inspection matters. For used buyers, that means long-term risk is manageable, but only if you verify maintenance history and test every major system.

What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Dodge Dart?

At 53.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on body condition, electronics, and drivetrain behavior, since those are the areas where hidden issues can matter most. It also helps to compare trim equipment carefully, because the Dart’s feature set changes a lot by version.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE is the base trim with a 2.0-liter engine, manual transmission, CD player, 16-inch steel wheels, and a USB port. The SXT adds a 2.4-liter engine, Bluetooth connectivity, steering-wheel-mounted controls, and cruise control. The Aero is the high-mileage version with a 1.4-liter turbo engine, while the Limited adds an 8-inch touchscreen, power seats, 17-inch wheels, and a 7-inch multifunction display. The GT is the performance model with a tuned suspension, revised engine calibration, black front fascia, 18-inch wheels, and Nappa leather.
• Powertrain: Engine choices include a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder, a 1.4-liter turbo 4-cylinder, and a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder. The 1.4-liter turbo can return more than 40 mpg on the highway with care, while the 2.0-liter is straightforward and efficient enough for commuting. The 2.4-liter delivers the strongest output and is described as smooth and linear.
• Safety package: Standard safety equipment includes driver and passenger airbags, knee airbags, antilock brakes, child seat latches, electronic stability control, and traction control. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, and parking-assist features are available on Limited and GT trims.
• Infotainment: The Dart offers a 7-inch multifunction display in higher trims, and an 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen is standard in pricier Aero, GT, and Limited trims. The SE has only 4 speakers, while most trims get 6 speakers.
• Fuel efficiency: The 1.4-liter turbo can exceed 40 mpg on the highway, the 2.0-liter manages well into the 30-mpg range on the highway, and the 2.4-liter returns mid-30s highway mileage and low-20s city mileage.

Which 2015 Dodge Dart trim should I buy?

The 2015 Dodge Dart is offered in 5 trim levels: SE, SXT, Aero, GT, and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the least expensive way into the Dart, but it is also the most basic. You get the 2.0-liter engine, manual transmission, and simple equipment, so it makes sense mainly if your priority is low entry cost over features.
• SXT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the 2.4-liter engine, Bluetooth connectivity, steering-wheel-mounted controls, and cruise control. It also serves as the foundation for the Blacktop appearance package, which gives it extra visual appeal.
• Aero: Choose this if fuel economy matters most. It is the only trim with the 1.4-liter turbo 4-cylinder, and it is aimed at drivers who want the most mileage-focused setup.
• GT: This is the performance-oriented trim, with a tuned suspension, revised engine calibration, black front fascia, and 18-inch wheels. It suits you best if you want the sportiest Dart experience.
• Limited: This is the most comfort- and tech-focused choice, with the 8-inch touchscreen, power seats, 17-inch wheels, and 7-inch multifunction display. It is the right pick if you want the most upscale feel.

The safety suite with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, and parking-assist features is available only on Limited and GT trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Dodge Dart?

The market favors selective buyers, so you should act carefully and focus on the best-priced, cleanest examples.

• Deal availability: 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 340 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.19% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 53.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $6,638, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2015 Dodge Dart's resale value?

The current average of $6,911 sits slightly above last year's $6,763.

That upward move suggests the Dart has held enough buyer interest to avoid softening sharply. For a future seller, that is a helpful sign because steady pricing usually means the car still has a defined audience in the used market.

The Dart’s value story is also supported by its roomy cabin, solid platform, and broad trim range, which help it appeal to budget shoppers. If demand stays steady and condition remains strong, resale should remain reasonably stable for a compact car in this price band.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2015 Dodge Dart safe?

The 2015 Dodge Dart received five-star ratings from NHTSA and mostly Good ratings from IIHS, though it earned only an Acceptable rating in the small-overlap crash test. It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes driver and passenger airbags, knee airbags, antilock brakes, child seat latches, electronic stability control, and traction control. A driver-assistance suite with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path detection, and parking-assist features is available on Limited and GT trims.

The main caveat is the small-overlap result, which is weaker than the rest of its crash-test performance. If safety is a top priority, you should pay close attention to trim level and make sure the features you want are actually included.

Should I buy a 2015 Dodge Dart or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2015 if:

• 25.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 53.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices are up 2.19% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2015 adds a Blacktop appearance package to SXT trims and keeps the Dart’s roomy, value-focused formula intact.

Consider the 2014 if:

• At $6,894, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $6,911 average.
• It emphasizes strong safety and infotainment appeal.

Consider the 2016 if:

• At $7,117, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $6,911 average.
• It keeps the Dart’s roomy footprint while leaning harder into value and mileage.

The bottom line: The 2015 is the right pick if you want the Dart’s roomy cabin, solid safety, and broad trim mix without moving up in price. If you are shopping strictly on budget, the 2014 can save you a little money, while the 2016 makes sense if you want to compare against a slightly newer example and are willing to pay more.
