Summary
With 1,001 currently listed for sale and an average price of $15,427, 30.2% of 2015 Toyota Siennas for sale on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2015 Toyota Sienna 4.78 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it an 8.5 / 10.

Why it stands out
The 2015 Toyota Sienna stands out as a notably improved version of Toyota’s minivan, with the update making it, for the first time in its history, more appealing than the Honda Odyssey. It does not look very different from the previous model, but it brings numerous upgrades and improves in almost every respect. Safety is singled out as one of the most important areas of progress, which helps explain why this version is viewed as the best yet.
That broader appeal is reinforced by owner feedback, which points to reliability, spaciousness, and a strong feature set as major strengths. Drivers also praise its roomy interior, good power, and ease of maintenance. On the downside, some owners mention concerns about the suspension system and lower bumpers, so while the 2015 Toyota Sienna is widely seen as a highly capable family vehicle, it is not without a few practical drawbacks.

This car is the best family car Ive had: 8 passengers capacity, roomy leg space, large cargo area. Its quiet inside and quick to accelerate. It drives very comfortably and safely with eather trim, GPS navigation, Bluetooth, parking censor, and many other good features. I expect it to last for a long time because of the reputation of Toyota and this particular model was praised on Consumer Reports.

Is the 2015 Toyota Sienna a good car?
Yes — the 2015 Toyota Sienna earns a 4.78/5 user rating and an 8.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.
Owners consistently praise its reliability, spaciousness, roomy interior, good power, and ease of maintenance. That lines up well with the Sienna’s family-first mission, especially if you want a minivan that makes daily life easier and offers a strong feature set.
With 31.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a well-priced example.
Is the 2015 Toyota Sienna reliable?
Owners rate it 4.78/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
Owner feedback repeatedly points to reliability and a trouble-free ownership experience, along with praise for how easy it is to maintain. The expert evaluation also emphasizes improved quality and a stronger overall ownership outlook, while noting free scheduled maintenance during the first couple of years of ownership.
For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that condition can vary, so you should pay close attention to maintenance history and signs of wear before you commit.
What should I look for when buying a used 2015 Toyota Sienna?
At 53% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
You should start with a vehicle history report and then prioritize a thorough inspection of bodywork, suspension components, and lower bumper areas. Because owner feedback mentions concerns in those areas, it makes sense to focus on signs of prior damage, uneven tire wear, and any evidence of rough use.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The Limited trim adds power sliding doors, power folding third-row seats, front and rear sunroofs, a navigation system with live traffic information, and a rear-seat entertainment system, while lower trims miss some of those luxury and convenience features.
- Powertrain: The 3.5-liter V6 makes 266 hp and pairs with a 6-speed automatic transmission; all-wheel drive is available, and the setup is tuned for smooth, confident everyday driving.
- Safety package: Toyota Safety Connect includes Automatic Collision Notification and an SOS emergency button, and blind-spot monitoring and cross-traffic alert are available on most versions. Safety Connect is reserved for the Limited model.
- Infotainment: The Sienna uses a 7-inch Entune display with intuitive touch controls, a premium JBL audio system, navigation, advanced voice recognition, USB 2.0 fast-charge ports, and connectivity apps.
- Fuel efficiency: The EPA says to expect 18 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway, with 21 mpg combined.

Here's the short version:
The Limited is the clear choice if you want the most upscale Sienna experience, with power sliding doors, power folding third-row seats, front and rear sunroofs, navigation, and a rear-seat entertainment system. It suits you best if you want a fully loaded family hauler and are willing to pay for the extra convenience and comfort features.
Safety Connect is reserved for the Limited model, so this trim also has the strongest safety-tech story in the lineup.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2015 Toyota Sienna?
This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on strong listings.
- Deal availability: 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 1,008 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 1.26% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 53.0% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $14,728, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2015 Toyota Sienna's resale value?
The current average of $15,419 sits slightly below last year's $15,616.
That modest decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may temper near-term resale gains if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the current pricing trend points to a vehicle that is holding value reasonably well rather than dropping sharply.
Strong owner satisfaction can help support demand when it is time to resell, especially for a family vehicle with a reputation for reliability and practicality.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.78/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

The IIHS small-overlap frontal-crash result is only Acceptable, so that is the main safety caveat to keep in mind.
Should I buy a 2015 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2015 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2015 if:
- 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

- Price trend: Prices have softened 1.26% compared with last year.
- Owners rate it 4.78/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
- It brings major safety and technology upgrades that make it the strongest Sienna yet.
Consider the 2014 if:
- At $13,074, the 2014 costs less than the current year's $15,419 average.
- It focuses on utility and functionality, with lounge-style second-row captain’s chairs.
Consider the 2016 if:
- At $17,488, the 2016 costs more than the current year's $15,419 average.
- It adds Siri Eyes Free for iPhone users and expands the tech appeal.
The bottom line: If you want the best blend of safety, features, and overall polish, the 2015 is the strongest pick. If your budget matters most, the 2014 is the value play; if you want a newer tech angle and can spend more, the 2016 is worth a look.
