The 2016 and 2017 MB GLE350 had higher reliability ratings than the 2018-2019 models. Our last ML350 (Same model before GLE name change) had the same 3.5L engine that was still going strong at 221k when we sold that car. These cars are mini tanks with high safety ratings that are likely to protect you in the event of a crash (been in one in a 2017 at 40mph, unhurt). The car feels like you’re driving a couch at truck-height. Highly recommend.

Mercedes/Benz is my favorite car. I have owned several over the years and the GLE is an improved version of the old ML; which I also thought highly of. The GLE is a very classy and beautiful SUV. It’s very comfortable, drives smooth and handles well…. I Love this SUV!
