How much does the 2016 Nissan Titan cost?

There are 722 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2016 Nissan Titan a good car?

With a user rating of 3.25/5, the 2016 Nissan Titan looks like a solid but selective buy rather than a universal pick. The overview points to a full-size truck with a standard V8, a quiet cabin, accessible tech, and a comfortable interior, so it fits you well if you want a well-equipped pickup with useful everyday manners and off-road capability. Its drawbacks are also clear: poor fuel economy, limited bed and cab configurations, and no alternative engines.

With 29.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop carefully and find value.

Is the 2016 Nissan Titan reliable?

The 2016 Nissan Titan’s overview highlights a reputation for reliability, which is a meaningful strength if you want a used full-size truck that should be straightforward to live with. It also pairs that reputation with a standard V8 and a cabin focused on comfort and usability, which supports its appeal as a practical daily driver or weekend hauler.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that any truck with prior wear, uneven maintenance, or accident history can become expensive if you skip a thorough checkup.

What should I look for when buying a used 2016 Nissan Titan?

At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any reported damage was cosmetic or structural. Put inspection priority on the frame, suspension, bed, and cab corners, since those areas matter most on a used truck. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because the Titan’s value depends heavily on how well it was cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2016 Nissan Titan?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right truck.

• Deal availability: 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 722 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.27% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 62.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $20,816, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2016 Nissan Titan's resale value?

The current average of $20,816 sits slightly below last year's $22,448.

That price movement suggests the Titan has softened enough to help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. If you plan to resell later, the current market gives you a clearer baseline, but future value will still depend heavily on mileage, condition, and accident history. A well-kept truck with clean records should hold up better than one with visible wear or prior damage.

Should I buy a 2016 Nissan Titan or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2016 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2016 if:

• 29.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 62.7% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.27% compared with last year.

Consider the 2017 if:

• At $19,577, the 2017 costs less than the current year's $20,816 average.
• It adds a redesigned, more polished full-size truck feel.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger value play, the 2016 is worth a close look because pricing has eased and there are enough listings to compare. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2017 may be the better path since it undercuts the current year’s average while bringing a more refined redesign.
