Used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA cost?

Prices have softened 10.94% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 443 listings available, which gives you a modest pool to compare before you buy.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA stands out as a small luxury crossover that leans more toward style and performance than outright utility, with a sleek shape, competitive interior space for its class, and a premium-badge appeal that makes it distinctive. It also offers useful technology for the year, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while still keeping a compact footprint. 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA’s appeal comes from its premium feel, available performance, and modern tech rather than maximum utility, so it tends to suit buyers who value style and features in a compact package. Its tradeoff is that the sporty packaging leaves less cargo room than some rivals, which is worth keeping in mind if you plan to use it heavily as a daily family hauler. For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is most likely to come from choosing a poorly maintained example, so condition and service history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

At 57.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report and confirm whether any prior damage was repaired properly. Put inspection priority on body condition, panel alignment, and signs of inconsistent wear, then make sure the cabin electronics and infotainment features work as expected. Because this model emphasizes style and packaging over utility, you should also pay close attention to how the cargo area and rear-seat space fit your needs in person.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 443 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.94% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 57.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $12,812, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA's resale value?

The current average of $12,812 sits slightly below last year's $14,385.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you can reduce the impact of further depreciation. The model’s premium badge and compact crossover appeal should still support demand among shoppers looking for a stylish entry into luxury ownership.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2017 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2017 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 57.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.94% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2017 model is a smart choice if you want the GLA’s sleek styling, premium feel, and modern tech at a softened price point. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years to see whether a better-equipped or better-priced example fits your budget more cleanly.
