For long-term ownership, your biggest risk is less about broad owner dissatisfaction and more about finding a well-kept example with a clean history and consistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Lincoln Navigator?

At 72.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report before you commit, especially if the price looks unusually attractive. Put inspection priority on body condition, repair quality, and signs of prior damage, since accident history can affect both reliability and resale. It also makes sense to focus on how the cabin, electronics, and convenience features have held up, because those are central to the Navigator’s appeal.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Lincoln Navigator?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 842 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.72% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 72.8% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,496, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $29,496 sits slightly below last year's $33,411.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit near-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you own one for several years, the Navigator’s strong reputation for comfort and luxury can help support demand, especially among shoppers looking for a premium full-size SUV. Well-kept examples should remain more appealing than neglected ones, so condition will matter a lot when it comes time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.79/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 72.8% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.72% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.79/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $26,774, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $29,496 average.
• It offers a stylish redesign with strong comfort and towing ability.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $34,281, the 2020 costs more than the current year's $29,496 average.
• It adds a roomier cabin with smoother, more comfortable family-friendly appeal.

The bottom line: The 2019 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-liked Navigator with strong owner satisfaction and a softer price than last year. If your budget is tighter, the 2018 is the better value play, while the 2020 makes sense if you want to spend more for a newer-feeling luxury SUV.
