Is the 2019 Toyota C-HR a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. That kind of feedback suggests you may be looking at a vehicle that resonates well with people who have lived with it day to day.

With 34.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively and still find competitive pricing.

Is the 2019 Toyota C-HR reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that suggests the bigger ownership risk is less about broad reputation and more about finding a well-kept example with clean history and consistent maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Toyota C-HR?

At 69.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection before you commit. Focus closely on body condition, repair quality, and signs of uneven wear so you can separate a clean example from one that may have hidden issues.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2019 Toyota C-HR?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 650 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.36% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 69.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,067, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2019 Toyota C-HR's resale value?

The current average of $16,362 sits slightly below last year's $17,108.

That softer pricing can help you buy with less risk of overpaying, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if the market stays soft. If you plan to sell later, condition and documentation will matter more because buyers will have plenty of comparable listings to choose from.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Toyota C-HR or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.36% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2018 if:

• At $15,010, the 2018 costs less than the current year's $16,362 average.
• It offers distinctive styling and a character-driven feel that appeals to buyers who value personality.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, deal availability, and owner satisfaction, the 2019 is the better starting point. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2018 is the more budget-friendly path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
