In the third-generation S60, Volvo moved the car onto its Scalable Product Architecture platform and gave it the refined design language and advanced safety systems of the flagship S90 in a smaller, sleeker package. For 2020, the S60 offered a broad range of powertrains built around Volvo’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder Drive-E engine family. There are a few tradeoffs to keep in mind. The fuel economy for gas models is described as about 30 mpg, which is not especially noteworthy, and the rear seats are tight. Still, the 2020 S60 remains appealing for buyers who want a stylish sedan with a quiet ride, smooth acceleration, strong safety credentials, and a cabin that feels thoughtfully designed rather than flashy.

Had a few Volvos over the years. Always really liked them. This 2020 is amazing - a very under rated vehicle. My last Volvo got totalled by someone running a red light. I walked away without a scratch! I wont drive anything than another Volvo.

Very quiet. Rides very well. T5 has more than enough beans. The styling gives it real presence. Interior could use more storage. (I thought every car had a sunglass holder).

Very good acceleration with the T-6 package, and handles well. Smooth ride, and quiet cabin. Interior nicely laid out. Plenty of leg room for tall drivers.
