Used 2021 Chevrolet Corvette for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 5.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,224 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Yes — the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette earns a 4.87/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

Owners consistently praise the powerful performance, stunning looks, and strong value for money, especially versus pricier supercars. The Corvette also comes through as a fun-to-drive sports car with a distinctive design that feels special without needing a supercar badge. For buyers who want a dramatic performance car, the convertible body style adds an open-air experience that the test-drive notes say can be worth the extra cost.

The trade-offs are straightforward: the manual transmission is not available, and cargo space is limited. For shoppers who want excitement, style, and value in a sports-car package, that balance makes sense.

With 37.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.87/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels powerful, impressive, and satisfying enough that many drivers call it the best version yet. That kind of enthusiasm usually lines up with a vehicle people feel good about living with over time. The expert notes also emphasize that the Corvette is easy to use day to day despite its performance focus, which supports the idea that it can be a dependable ownership experience if you keep up with maintenance.

The cost-effectiveness notes also frame it as a brilliantly engineered bargain for the performance it delivers, which is a good sign for long-term ownership confidence. For used buyers, the main risk is less about basic durability and more about whether a hard-driven sports car has been maintained carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a sports car like this may have seen spirited use even if it has no accident record. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, wheels, brakes, and interior condition, and pay close attention to signs of curb rash, track use, or neglected maintenance. If you’re shopping a convertible, make sure the roof mechanism operates smoothly and that the cabin electronics work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2LT adds a head-up display and visibility upgrades that are restricted to the 2LT and 3LT trims, while the base trim misses those extras.
• Powertrain: You get a 6.2-liter V8 with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, and the Z51 package adds performance exhaust, more aggressive tuning, and stronger hardware.
• Safety package: Teen Driver is standard, and Chevrolet Connected Services can add automatic collision notification and emergency calling. The front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert are limited to the 2LT and 3LT trims.
• Infotainment: Every Corvette includes an 8-inch touchscreen, a configurable 12-inch digital display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and available navigation on upgraded infotainment.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel-economy figure is stated in the provided data.

Which 2021 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point if you want the Corvette experience at the lowest price, but you give up some of the convenience and visibility upgrades found higher up the range.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most buyers because it adds the head-up display and unlocks the visibility tech that makes the car easier to live with.
• 3LT: Choose this if you want the most premium cabin experience and are willing to pay more for the top trim.

The safety-package note to keep in mind is that the front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert are limited to the 2LT and 3LT trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 Chevrolet Corvette?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough price softness to create opportunities.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,224 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $64,490, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $64,490 sits slightly below last year's $68,269.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now. For a future seller, the softer trend means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and trim than on broad market momentum. Well-kept examples with desirable equipment should still hold attention because the Corvette remains a high-demand sports car.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.87/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette earns a Poor rating from IIHS.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Teen Driver is standard, and Chevrolet Connected Services can provide automatic collision notification and emergency calling with an active subscription. The Corvette also includes a standard rearview camera mirror, high-definition reversing camera, and rear parking sensors. If you move up to the 2LT or 3LT trims, you also get a front-facing camera, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

The bigger caveat is that modern driver-assistance systems are largely absent. It does not offer adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assistance, or Super Cruise. That makes safety equipment feel more limited than what you’ll find in many other modern vehicles.

Should I buy a 2021 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.87/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2021 adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus a more usable tech setup.

Consider the 2020 if:

• At $62,931, the 2020 costs less than the current year's $64,490 average.
• It introduced the mid-engine redesign and brought a huge performance leap.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $67,792, the 2022 costs more than the current year's $64,490 average.
• It adds minor updates and keeps the lineup fresh with new colors and a limited-edition model.

The bottom line: the 2021 is the sweet spot if you want the strongest mix of price, tech, and buyer demand. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2020 is worth a look because it delivers the core Corvette experience for less.
