Is the 2021 RAM 3500 Chassis a good car?

With no expert test-drive data available for this model year, your best read comes from the market itself: the 2021 RAM 3500 Chassis is trading at an average of $38,179, and prices are down 7.73% from a year ago. That combination points to a market where you can shop selectively rather than rush.

What should I look for when buying a used 2021 RAM 3500 Chassis?

At 69.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any promising listing and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection before you commit. Focus on overall condition, repair quality, and whether the truck’s wear matches its asking price and intended use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2021 RAM 3500 Chassis?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined about condition and pricing.

• Deal availability: 25.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 183 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.73% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 69.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,402, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2021 RAM 3500 Chassis's resale value?

The current average of $38,179 sits slightly below last year's $41,376.

For a future seller, that means the market has already adjusted downward, so your resale outcome will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the truck has been maintained. If you buy well now and keep the vehicle in strong shape, you’ll be better positioned to protect value later.

Should I buy a 2021 RAM 3500 Chassis or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2021 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2021 if:

• 25.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 69.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.73% compared with last year.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest balance of current pricing and available inventory, the 2021 is a reasonable place to focus your search. If you’re especially price-sensitive, keep an eye on nearby model years as well, but make sure you compare condition and history first so a lower sticker price doesn’t hide a weaker overall value.
