Is the 2022 Acura ILX a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to very strong owner satisfaction for this model year. That kind of feedback suggests you may be looking at a car that has met expectations for many drivers, especially if you find one with clean history and solid maintenance records. With 31.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Acura ILX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that kind of owner feedback can reduce some of the uncertainty around ownership risk, but you should still focus on maintenance history and overall condition before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Acura ILX?

At 67.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should run a vehicle history report on any candidate you’re serious about and confirm whether prior damage was cosmetic or structural. A pre-purchase inspection is worth prioritizing, especially if the car has incomplete records or signs of uneven wear. Focus on body condition, panel alignment, tire wear, and evidence of repairs so you can separate a clean example from one that has been patched together.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Acura ILX?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and deal activity to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 187 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.88% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 67.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,651, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Acura ILX's resale value?

The current average of $23,335 sits slightly below last year's $24,532.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, softer pricing now can mean less immediate upside, but it also may support steadier demand if you buy well and keep the car in strong condition. A clean history and good maintenance will matter more if you want to protect value over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Acura ILX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 67.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line:

If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, available inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2022 is a sensible place to focus your search. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare it with nearby years and target the cleanest, best-priced example rather than the newest one you can find.
