How much does the 2022 BMW X6 cost?

Is the 2022 BMW X6 a good car?

Yes — the 4.5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year. The 2022 BMW X6 stands out because it blends the X6’s original coupe-like SUV shape with the third generation’s more aggressive stance and upscale hardware. For you, that means a luxury SUV that prioritizes style, performance, and a high-end feel over conventional utility, with poor cargo space and poor fuel economy as the main tradeoffs. 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 BMW X6 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 BMW X6 is presented as a well-equipped, performance-focused luxury SUV with strong hardware and a premium cabin. Its appeal comes from the combination of style, equipment, and performance in a package that feels more special than a conventional midsize luxury SUV. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is accepting the model’s style-first compromises, especially if you need more practicality than this shape typically delivers.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 BMW X6?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm the car’s background and then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a vehicle with this much performance and equipment. Focus your inspection on overall condition, since the X6’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been maintained and presented. Because the model is known for poor cargo space and poor fuel economy, make sure the example you choose still fits your day-to-day needs.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 BMW X6?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 477 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 80.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $46,751, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 BMW X6's resale value?

The current average of $46,838 sits slightly below last year's $51,703.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited. If you plan to sell later, the X6’s distinctive styling and premium positioning should still help it stand out, but the current trend shows buyers are paying less than they were a year ago. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 BMW X6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 80.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the X6’s distinctive styling, upscale feel, and strong performance, the 2022 is the right direction to focus on. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby year with a lower asking price may be worth comparing, but you should still center your search on condition, history, and deal quality rather than year alone.
