Is the 2022 Buick Envision a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year.

The 2022 Buick Envision aims for a more upscale feel than many mainstream compact SUVs, with Buick’s QuietTuning refinement, stylish interiors, and a distinctive front-end design helping it present a more premium image. It also offers a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine, available all-wheel drive, and generous standard equipment, including Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a suite of driver-assistance features.

That makes it a sensible pick if you want a comfortable, well-equipped compact SUV with a more polished personality than many rivals. 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Buick Envision reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2022 Buick Envision’s appeal is built around comfort, refinement, and a generous equipment list, which can make it feel like a more premium choice in daily use. Its standard safety and convenience features also help it come across as a thoughtfully packaged SUV for regular commuting and family duty.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the vehicle has been maintained well and hasn’t picked up hidden wear that could undermine its upscale feel.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Buick Envision?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the report carefully for prior damage, title issues, and any gaps in maintenance records. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on the condition of the turbocharged powertrain, the transmission behavior, and the cabin features that make this model appealing in the first place.

Pay close attention to overall wear, because the Envision’s value proposition depends heavily on whether it still feels clean, quiet, and well cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Buick Envision?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,850 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,549, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Buick Envision's resale value?

The current average of $23,549 sits slightly below last year's $25,707.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you purchase at a strong price and keep the vehicle in clean condition, you can help protect your future trade-in position.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Buick Envision or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $21,571, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $23,549 average.
• It offers a redesigned-generation feel with stylish design and comfortable cabin appeal.

The bottom line: The 2022 is the better all-around choice if you want the stronger current-market mix of features, satisfaction, and deal availability. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2021 is the smarter path, especially if you find one in clean condition with the equipment you want.
