Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Kia Sorento Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

If you find a listing below $21,906, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Kia Sorento Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $21,906 sits slightly below last year's $25,539.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For future resale, a lower purchase price can reduce the amount you need to recover later, especially if the vehicle stays in strong condition. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintain it well, you’ll be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Kia Sorento Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $20,464, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $21,906 average.
• It offers a redesigned three-row layout with hybrid efficiency and modern tech.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2022 is the better primary pick. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2021 is the more budget-friendly alternative.
