What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this car’s value can swing with condition and equipment. Focus on signs of hard use, verify that the electronics work properly, and pay close attention to wear on performance-oriented components.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base 1LT gives you the essentials, but the cabin is still driver-focused and can feel busy. The 2LT adds useful comfort and convenience upgrades, while the 3LT brings more upscale cabin materials and GT2 bucket seats.
• Powertrain: You get a mid-mounted naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 with 490 horsepower and 465 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic and rear-wheel drive. The optional Performance Exhaust raises output to 495 hp and 470 lb-ft.
• Safety package: The Corvette includes a backup camera, front- and side-impact airbags, and rear parking sensors. The 2LT adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and GM’s rear camera mirror.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses an 8-inch touchscreen with Chevy’s Infotainment 3 system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto. It also includes a fully digital instrument panel and a head-up display on higher trims.
• Fuel efficiency: The base V8 returns 16 mpg city, 24 highway, and 19 combined.

Which 2023 Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette is offered in 3 trim levels: 1LT, 2LT, 3LT.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the core Corvette experience with the digital gauge cluster, leather upholstery, an 8-inch touchscreen, and the Bose 10-speaker stereo. It makes sense if you want the lowest starting price and care most about the driving experience.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds navigation, a performance data and video recorder, a 14-speaker Bose stereo, heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless charging, a head-up display, and the useful blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. If you want the most balanced mix of comfort, tech, and safety, this is the one to target.
• 3LT: This trim adds GT2 bucket seats and more soft-touch leather surfaces throughout the cabin. Choose it if you want the most upscale interior presentation and are willing to pay more for it.

The 2LT trim adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and GM’s rear camera mirror.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Chevrolet Corvette?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,414 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $77,507, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $77,794 sits slightly below last year's $80,651.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer now, but it also means a future seller may need to be realistic about expectations if the market stays competitive. The current trend suggests the Corvette is holding value reasonably well, but not appreciating in the way a tighter supply market might support.

Strong owner satisfaction can help keep demand steady when you eventually resell. Buyers tend to respond well to cars that deliver on their promise, and this Corvette’s reputation for performance and appeal should continue to support interest over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.77/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette safe?

The Corvette comes standard with a backup camera, a full array of front- and side-impact airbags in addition to rear parking sensors.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

The safety story is mixed because the car lacks modern driver-assistance features that many shoppers now expect. Forward-collision avoidance, lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams are not even available as options. The 2LT trim does improve matters with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and GM’s rear camera mirror, but the base car still leaves a notable gap in advanced safety tech.

Should I buy a 2023 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.54% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.77/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 Corvette combines supercar styling, mid-engine performance, and everyday usability in a way that feels especially compelling.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $67,792, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $77,794 average.
• It remains a strong value-oriented sports car with impressive performance and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current-market availability, owner satisfaction, and updated pricing context, the 2023 is the better target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is still a smart alternative because it delivers much of the same core Corvette appeal for less money.
