You should prioritize a clean history report first, then confirm the car’s condition with a careful inspection. Should I buy a 2023 Genesis G80 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• It offers a quieter cabin and great ride quality.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the stronger value proposition and a broad pool of used listings to compare. If your priority is simply finding the lowest entry price and you’re willing to trade some of the 2023’s market advantages for a different year’s setup, the 2022 can still be worth a look.
