How much does the 2023 INFINITI Q50 cost?

Prices have softened 4.29% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 656 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 INFINITI Q50 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 INFINITI Q50 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 8/10.

The Q50’s appeal is rooted in its style-and-performance formula: it offers a powerful engine, easy-to-use technology, and a traditional sedan layout for shoppers who still want that body style. The trade-offs are clear, though, with poor fuel economy, outdated technology, and weak value for money standing out in the expert assessment.

That makes it a better fit if you want a sedan that feels quick and looks distinctive, rather than one that leads the class in refinement or efficiency. Even so, 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 INFINITI Q50 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Q50’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward powertrain setup and its emphasis on familiar sedan hardware rather than complicated new systems. The expert review also describes the car as approachable, with quick and smooth shifting from the seven-speed automatic transmission.

Its performance notes point to a strong engine and a setup that feels quick in everyday driving, while the cost-effectiveness commentary suggests the base Luxe trim is the smarter buy because it stays well equipped without pushing the price too high. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a dated luxury sedan can become expensive to live with if you prioritize efficiency, technology, and overall value.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 INFINITI Q50?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a vehicle history report on any car you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on the condition of the powertrain, electronics, and interior controls, since the Q50’s age shows up most clearly in its tech and cabin execution. It’s also worth comparing trim equipment carefully so you know exactly what you’re giving up or gaining.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Luxe trim is the recommended starting point because it stays well equipped while avoiding the steep jump in price seen on higher trims. The cabin and exterior styling are strong points, but the base setup still reflects the model’s older design, including a touchscreen-and-button layout that feels dated compared with newer rivals.
• Powertrain: The Q50 uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 300 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. It can be fitted with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, and the performance tuning favors quick acceleration over polished handling.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring and intervention. There is no hands-free driving capability on this model.
• Infotainment: The Q50 uses two touchscreens, with the upper display handling navigation and, when equipped, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. It also supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, though the latter requires a wire, and the system can run two separate apps at once.
• Fuel efficiency: The Q50 is EPA rated at 19 mpg city, 27 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined.

Which 2023 INFINITI Q50 trim should I buy?

The 2023 INFINITI Q50 is offered in 1 trim level: Luxe.

Here's the short version:

The Luxe is the trim to focus on because it delivers the best balance of equipment and price in this lineup. It comes well equipped without pushing you into the much pricier upper trims, and the expert review specifically recommends it unless you’re set on the Red Sport 400’s extra power. If you want the smartest value in this model year, this is the one to target.

The safety package includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring and intervention, but there’s no hands-free driving capability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 INFINITI Q50?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 656 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.29% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,386, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 INFINITI Q50's resale value?

The current average of $31,598 sits slightly below last year's $33,014.

That price movement suggests the Q50 has already absorbed some of its near-term depreciation, which can help if you buy at the right number and hold the car for a while. The current market also shows a relatively tight year-round range, which can support resale stability if you keep the car in good condition and avoid overpaying up front.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 INFINITI Q50 safe?

The Infiniti Q50 earns Good ratings from IIHS in all four crashworthiness tests, and it earns a five-star rating in its NHTSA rollover test.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver assistance includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and blind-spot monitoring and intervention. The safety suite is respectable, but it is not especially advanced for the class, and there is no hands-free driving capability.

Should I buy a 2023 INFINITI Q50 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 29.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.29% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 model year still emphasizes style, performance, and approachable technology in a traditional sedan package.

The bottom line: If you want the Q50’s core appeal — strong power, distinctive styling, and a sedan format — the 2023 is a sensible place to shop, especially if you can find one near the low end of the market range. If you’re more price-sensitive, focus on the best-equipped example you can find rather than stretching for a higher trim, since the value story is strongest when you keep the purchase price in check.
