How much does the 2023 Kia Seltos cost?

Is the 2023 Kia Seltos a good car?

Yes — the 4.67/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for the 2023 Kia Seltos. The overview describes it as a subcompact crossover that makes the most of its size, with a larger footprint than some rivals, a more rugged personality, and a surprisingly premium interior for the price. It also emphasizes generous passenger and cargo space, plus a cabin that feels well thought out and refined, which makes it appealing if you want a practical small SUV with a more upscale feel. With 35.9% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Kia Seltos reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a practical, well-rounded small crossover with a refined cabin, useful space, and a strong mix of standard equipment and available upgrades. It also notes added acoustic windshield glass for 2023, which helps reduce wind noise, and highlights available all-wheel drive and a full safety suite on the S trim. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure you choose a well-maintained example, since the model’s tradeoffs include a noisy cabin, a clunky dual-clutch transmission, and a base engine that can feel underpowered.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia Seltos?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a careful inspection of the transmission behavior, cabin noise, and overall condition. Because the model’s known tradeoffs include a clunky dual-clutch transmission and a noisy cabin, a thorough test drive matters more than usual. It also helps to compare trim-level equipment closely so you know whether the features you want are actually present on the specific vehicle you’re considering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia Seltos?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,449 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.44% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $19,992, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia Seltos's resale value?

The current average of $20,057 sits slightly below last year's $21,211.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. A well-kept example with desirable features should be easier to move than a bare-bones trim with more wear.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia Seltos or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $17,740, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $20,057 average.
• It adds more available driver-assist tech and a Nightfall Edition.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $23,045, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $20,057 average.
• It adds fresh styling and updated technology.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the best all-around choice if you want a balanced mix of value, features, and market availability. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better secondary path, while the 2024 makes sense if you want the newer refresh and are willing to pay more.
