About 2023 Lamborghini Huracan
Few cars turn heads and foment excitement quite like the 2023 Lamborghini Huracán. Its unmistakable wedge-like styling makes it appear to be moving at speed even when parked. This is backed up by world-class performance and a raucous exhaust note. For 2023, Lamborghini introduces the Huracán Tecnica, a more focused Huracán with fantastic (and functional) styling. The Lamborghini Huracán Tecnica borrows some components from the still-somewhat-new, range-topping Huracán STO. It features heavily revised front- and rear-end designs as well as a fixed wing and large exhaust outlets moved up to the same height as the rear license plate. Together, these details keep the Huracán looking fresh and futuristic, nearly a decade after the supercar’s introduction. The Tecnica slots in between the “entry-level” Evo and the outrageous STO. All versions come with climate control, an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and two USB ports. Apple CarPlay is available; there is no Android Auto integration. The range-topping STO features extensive use of carbon fiber in the bodywork, ultra-high-performance tires, retuned stiffer suspension, and race-quality carbon ceramic brakes. It’s all wrapped in absolutely aggressive aerodynamic bodywork. The Huracán features an adaptive suspension and advanced traction control systems, as well as all-wheel steering on all-wheel drive (AWD) versions and on the Tecnica. The suspension has a Strada (street) mode for a slight dose of comfort, and the optional front suspension lifts to negotiate speed bumps or pitched garage entrances. The Lamborghini Huracán is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine, nestled behind the driver in a performance-optimized, mid-mounted configuration. It routes power to the rear wheels or available all-wheel drive through a seven-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission. In the rear-wheel drive (RWD) Evo, the engine makes 602 horsepower and 413 pound-feet of torque. The AWD Evo puts out 630 horsepower and 443 pound-feet. In both the Tecnica and the STO, the output is rated at 630 horsepower and 417 pound-feet of torque. The Tecnica will sprint from zero to 62 mph (100 kmh) in 3.2 seconds, while the STO does the same run in just 3.0 seconds. The Tecnica has the STO beat on top speed, at 202 mph vs. 190 mph. Fuel economy for the 2023 Lamborghini Huracán is 13 mpg city, 18 highway, and 15 combined, and as you might imagine, the Huracán demands premium fuel. Pricing has not yet been announced for the 2023 Lamborghini Huracán. It is backed by a three-year/36,000-mile basic warranty.
