How much does the 2024 BMW M4 cost?

Prices have softened 4.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 349 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 BMW M4 a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 BMW M4 blends serious performance with a more modern, high-tech cabin, while still keeping the aggressive styling and driver-focused character that define the model. It also stands out for being well-equipped and appealing to buyers who want a performance car that still feels usable day to day. With 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 BMW M4 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview describes this model year as having a good reliability record so far, which is encouraging if you want a used performance car without stepping into a purely speculative ownership experience. For a used buyer, the main long-term risk is less about the basic formula and more about how hard the car was driven and maintained.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW M4?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for signs of hard use, track abuse, or uneven maintenance. Pay close attention to overall condition, because a performance car like this can vary a lot depending on how carefully it was driven and serviced.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW M4?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 349 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.44% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $75,587, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW M4's resale value?

The current average of $76,602 sits slightly below last year's $80,165.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale gains may be more limited if prices continue to soften. Even so, the model's strong desirability and performance-focused appeal should help it stay relevant with shoppers who want a used sports coupe or convertible with broad capability. If you keep mileage, condition, and maintenance in check, you should be in a better position when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW M4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $72,486, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $76,602 average.
• It adds a rare CSL variant for enthusiasts.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $90,187, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $76,602 average.
• It adds a light refresh and a slight power bump.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the best all-around choice if you want a current-year M4 with strong satisfaction, decent inventory, and a softer price trend. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value path; if you want the newest updates and can stretch your budget, the 2025 is the upgrade route.
