Is the 2024 BMW iX a good car?

That kind of feedback suggests you’re looking at a vehicle that resonates well with shoppers who have lived with it, and 40.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which adds to the appeal.

Is the 2024 BMW iX reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

For used buyers, that usually means you should focus less on broad reputation and more on how well the specific vehicle has been maintained, since ownership history can still shape long-term risk.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW iX?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury EV where repair costs can be high if something has been overlooked. Focus on overall condition, charging behavior, tire wear, and any signs that the vehicle has seen hard use or inconsistent maintenance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW iX?

This looks like a buyer-friendly moment, with meaningful deal availability and a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

• Deal availability: 40.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,132 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.45% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $48,789, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW iX's resale value?

The current average of $48,789 sits slightly below last year's $54,484.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help future buyers but may temper near-term resale expectations. If you buy at a strong price today, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. A well-kept example should still hold more appeal than a neglected one, especially in a premium segment where condition matters a lot.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW iX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.3% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.45% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $47,090, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $48,789 average.
• It adds a more powerful M60 variant and stronger straight-line performance.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced shopping environment, the 2024 is the stronger primary choice thanks to softer pricing, solid inventory, and strong owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2023 is the better secondary path, especially if you value its performance-focused upgrade.
