How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette cost?

Prices have softened 6.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,441 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette earns 4.25/5 from shoppers, and its appeal comes from the mid-engine C8 layout, strong performance range, and modern tech. The standard car pairs a naturally aspirated V8 with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, while the lineup also includes the E-Ray hybrid and the high-output Z06, so you can shop across a wide performance spectrum. It also brings a fully digital gauge setup, an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, and standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which helps it feel current as a daily-use sports car.

The tradeoffs are clear: the cabin’s divider between driver and passenger is still a controversial design element, and cargo space is limited. Even so, the Corvette remains compelling if you want exotic-style performance without moving into exotic-car pricing. 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette reliable?

Owners rate it 4.25/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Corvette’s appeal is rooted in its established C8 formula, with a mid-engine layout and a proven V8-based powertrain strategy. Its modern tech and broad lineup suggest a car that was engineered to be more refined and more usable than older Corvette generations. The limited-cargo layout and performance-focused design mean you should still expect ownership to be centered on driving enjoyment rather than maximum practicality.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about everyday usability and more about how the car was driven and maintained before you buy it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Corvette?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches its mileage and asking price. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a performance car like this, since you want to check for signs of hard use, curb damage, and any issues with the brakes, tires, or suspension. Focus on overall condition and maintenance records, because a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the ownership experience you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Chevrolet Corvette?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

• Deal availability: 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,441 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.39% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $82,811, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

The current average of $82,811 sits slightly below last year's $88,460.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited in the near term. If you plan to sell later, condition and mileage will matter a lot, especially because shoppers in this segment tend to compare examples closely. A clean history and strong presentation should help your car stand out when it’s time to list it.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.25/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Corvette or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.25/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $77,794, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $82,811 average.
• It delivers exotic-style performance with everyday usability.

The bottom line: If you want the newer-year market position and are comfortable shopping carefully, the 2024 is the stronger primary target. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2023 is the better secondary path because it still captures the Corvette’s core appeal at a lower average price.
