Used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer for Sale nearBaltimore, MD

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer cost?

Prices have softened 6.09% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 5,502 listings available, which gives you a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Form and function.

The Trailblazer’s appeal comes from its stylish design, spacious cabin, and easy-to-use technology, and it is framed as a small SUV that covers the basics well while also exceeding expectations in passenger space, cargo capacity, style, and ease of use. The trade-off is that its base engine is underwhelming and its performance is fairly pedestrian, so you should expect practicality and polish more than quick acceleration.

The 37.4% share of good or great deals suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Trailblazer is described as checking the necessary boxes for performance, efficiency, price, and capability, while also delivering a practical and polished overall presentation. Its performance notes point to a base engine that feels anemic and a transmission that can slow responses, but the vehicle also earns credit for predictable braking, a comfortable ride, and muted road noise.

The Trailblazer’s cost-effectiveness notes also say you’re not required to use premium fuel, which helps keep day-to-day ownership simpler. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the weaker base powertrain may feel strained if you regularly need stronger acceleration.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on overall condition, how the transmission responds, and whether the cabin tech and driver-assistance features work cleanly and consistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Trailblazer’s styling is more athletic and serious for 2024, and the cabin gets a more modern look with the larger 11-inch touchscreen and digital instrument panel. Base-trim shoppers should pay attention to feature gaps versus higher trims, especially if you want more upscale touches or added convenience equipment.
• Powertrain: The base setup uses a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder with 137 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque, while the upgraded turbocharged 1.3-liter three-cylinder makes 155 hp and 174 lb-ft. The stronger engine is the better choice if you want more confident passing and less strained acceleration.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available separately.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets the 11-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and satellite radio. There’s no native navigation system, so you’ll rely on your phone for directions.
• Fuel efficiency: The base front-wheel-drive setup is estimated at 29 mpg city, 31 mpg highway, and 30 mpg combined. The upgraded turbo engine with all-wheel drive is estimated at 26 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer is offered in 4 trim levels: LS, LT, Activ, RS.

Here's the short version:

• LS: This is the entry point, and it makes the Trailblazer’s value case work if you want the basics without overpaying. It gets the standard 11-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and the core safety equipment, but you should expect the fewest extras.
• LT: This is the trim most buyers should start with because it adds more everyday appeal without pushing the price as high as the upper trims. If you want the best balance of equipment and value, this is the one to focus on first.
• Activ: This trim leans into the Trailblazer’s more rugged personality and is paired with the more powerful 1.3-liter engine and all-wheel drive in the expert test vehicle. It suits you best if you want the stronger powertrain and a more distinctive setup.
• RS: This is the sportier-looking choice and sits at the top of the range alongside the Activ in pricing with available all-wheel drive. Pick it if style matters most and you want the most expressive version of the Trailblazer.

The optional Driver Confidence package adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking proximity sensors.

• Deal availability: 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 5,502 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.09% compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer's resale value?

The current average of $22,645 sits slightly below last year's $24,113.

That price movement suggests the Trailblazer has softened enough to improve your buying position today, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive resale environment if prices continue to drift downward. If you buy at the right number and keep the vehicle in clean condition, you can help protect your exit value later. The model’s broad appeal as a practical small SUV should still support demand.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer safe?

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

All Trailblazers come standard with frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning. The optional Driver Confidence package adds a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking proximity sensors, and adaptive cruise control is available as a standalone option.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.09% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 brings a larger 11-inch touchscreen and a more modern cabin presentation.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $21,030, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $22,645 average.
• It offers a stylish design and easy-to-use technology.

The bottom line: If you want the more current Trailblazer with stronger market availability and a fresher interior presentation, the 2024 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2023 is the smarter value play.
