Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Honda Odyssey stands out as a family hauler that blends minivan practicality with a more carlike feel, and it keeps the focus on comfort and versatility with seating for seven or eight, sliding second-row seats, and a cabin built around everyday usability. Is the 2024 Honda Odyssey reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Honda Odyssey is presented as a family-friendly minivan with Honda’s reputation for durability behind it, and its straightforward formula centers on a front-wheel-drive layout and a V6 up front. That combination supports the kind of dependable, low-drama ownership many used buyers want in a family vehicle. For long-term ownership, your main risk is less about complexity and more about making sure the specific used example has been cared for properly.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Honda Odyssey?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

Start with the history report so you can confirm accident status, title history, and any major insurance claims. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, sliding-seat operation, and rear-seat convenience features, since this model’s value is tied closely to everyday family usability. You should also focus on overall condition, because a well-kept example is more likely to deliver the comfort and versatility that make the Odyssey appealing.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Honda Odyssey?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on strong listings.

• Deal availability: 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 4,008 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.15% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,562, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $35,562 sits slightly below last year's $38,717.

That price movement suggests the market has eased, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the softer trend means your return will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Well-kept examples should still benefit from steady family-vehicle demand.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 39.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.15% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $36,043, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $35,562 average.
• It adds a new 7-inch digital driver display and updated infotainment.

The bottom line: If you want the better value play, the 2024 is the stronger starting point because it combines a lower average price with solid deal availability. If you care more about the newer updates and are willing to pay a bit more, the 2025 is the cleaner alternative. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 is the one to target first.
