Is the 2024 Kia Forte a good car?

Is the 2024 Kia Forte reliable?

For used buyers, that suggests lower ownership risk than you might expect from a value-focused compact sedan, especially if you choose a well-kept example with clean history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia Forte?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection if the car has any signs of prior damage or inconsistent maintenance. Pay close attention to overall condition, since a clean-looking listing can still hide wear, repairs, or deferred service.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia Forte?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,872 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.1% of listings are accident-free.

What is the 2024 Kia Forte's resale value?

The current average of $19,062 sits slightly below last year's $19,176.

That small decline suggests the Forte has been holding value fairly steadily rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be reassuring because it points to a market that remains consistent and easy to read. If you buy well and keep the car in good condition, you should have a reasonable path to resale later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Forte or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $18,322, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $19,062 average.
• It offers strong value with comfort and everyday appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model year with stable pricing and a healthy pool of clean listings, the 2024 is the better default choice. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the smarter path to compare first.
