How much does the 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 2.72% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 450 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid a good car?

The 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid stands out as a three-row family SUV that pairs hybrid efficiency with the practicality many shoppers want from a midsize crossover. It offers seating for eight in lower-end versions, while higher-end trims use captain’s chairs in the second row, and the cabin can be configured for a large amount of cargo space when the rear rows are folded.

Toyota also gave it a smart interior with standard Android Auto or Apple CarPlay compatibility, and the available 12.3-inch touchscreen on the Limited and Platinum trims adds a more upscale feel. Its blend of space, efficiency, and standard safety equipment makes it an appealing choice for families, and 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid reliable?

The 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid benefits from a hybrid-specific all-wheel-drive setup that uses a third electric motor to drive the rear axle rather than a traditional transfer case, helping it deliver traction with strong efficiency. Toyota SafetySense 2.0 comes standard with features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, lane departure alert, automatic high beams, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring.

That combination of standard safety equipment and a proven hybrid layout should help keep long-term ownership risk manageable for used buyers, especially if you prioritize routine maintenance and a clean service history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re serious about, even when the market looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the hybrid system, brakes, tires, and suspension, and pay close attention to interior wear, cargo-area condition, and how well the third row and second-row seating mechanisms operate.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate market where selective buyers can still find value if they compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 450 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.72% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $49,764, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $50,109 sits slightly below last year's $51,511.

That tells you the market has eased, which can help you buy more confidently now if you plan to keep the vehicle for several years. For a future seller, the current pricing suggests you may not see the same immediate upside that came with last year's higher average, so condition and mileage will matter even more when it’s time to resell. If you maintain the vehicle well and keep it accident-free, you’ll be in a stronger position to protect value later.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Highlander Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.72% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better primary pick if you want a three-row hybrid SUV with strong efficiency, standard safety equipment, and a market that still offers some deal opportunities. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point, but the 2025 remains the cleaner choice when you want a balanced mix of inventory, condition, and value.
