Interior and exterior are very clean and well kept. This vehicle has no driving issues, but there is a chance this vehicle will soon need a head gasket repair due to white/yellow foam I observed in the oil filled neck after my test drive.

It's an amazing car. The car is valued at a great price. It's only missing a suspension upgrade, however it's current suspension should last some time. I would compare it to a 2019 or 2020 in terms of milage and quality.

Reviewed a 2010 Subaru Impreza WRX on Feb 6, 2025
I only recently became aware of the WRX and I wrote a letter to Lamborghini saying that after 40 years of thinking any real driver would want their cars. No, the WRX is my dream car! It’s the most beautiful relationship with asphalt ever built. No one complains about the WRX, this car has made grown men cry. If you’re a serious driver, you will need to see the Subaru WRX community — it towers over every other vehicle. It’s got a rally car’s soul.

Why it stands out
The 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX stands out as a focused performance sedan that still manages to be practical enough for everyday use. It pairs standard all-wheel drive with a turbocharged 2.5-liter boxer four-cylinder engine, and the buying guide notes that later 2011 and newer models are much more reliable and arguably better to drive. That combination of traction, power, and usable packaging is a big part of the car’s appeal, especially for buyers who want something entertaining without giving up all-weather confidence.
For 2014, the WRX STI carried over with minimal changes, and the navigation system now featured Aha smartphone connectivity software. The car’s performance hardware remains a major draw: the Driver Controlled Center Differential lets drivers adjust traction settings, and the model also includes Multi-mode Vehicle Dynamics Control and Subaru Intelligent Drive. The buying guide also highlights the six-speed manual transmission, Brembo performance brakes, and the car’s firm suspension and stiff chassis, all of which reinforce its rally-inspired character.
The tradeoffs are just as clear. The ride is stiff, the back seat is tight, the trunk is nothing remarkable, and the sound system is underwhelming. Even so, the 2014 Subaru Impreza WRX remains distinctive because it blends serious performance with everyday usability in a way few cars can match.
