Used Toyota bZ for SaleNationwide

Is the Toyota bZ a good car?

The 2026 Toyota bZ is easier to recommend than its previous iteration because Toyota improved the formula while keeping the price comparatively affordable. It adds more power, over 300 miles of range, a standard NACS charging port with a CCS adapter, Plug & Charge capability, and a larger infotainment screen, giving it a more polished and competitive feel.

Expert reviews rate the 2026 model among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs are a poor driver display, an irritating driver monitoring system, and safety ratings that fall short of a Top Safety Pick award.

35.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What should I look for when buying a used Toyota bZ?

Across all model years, accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, with Proactive Driving Assist, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, safe-exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors with automatic low-speed braking.
• Infotainment: the 14-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Toyota Audio Multimedia, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
• Range & charging: 314 miles of range, a 74.7-kWh battery pack, and about 30 minutes from 10% to 80% on a DC fast charger supplying at least 150 kW.
• Battery health: check battery state-of-health, review how the vehicle was typically charged at home versus on DC fast chargers, and confirm the remaining battery warranty.

Which Toyota bZ trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota bZ offers these trims:

• XLE: the entry trim brings the core bZ experience with front-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive, and it is the best-value choice for shoppers who want the lowest starting point with the key tech and safety features.
• XLE Plus: this version adds the larger battery, which brings more power and range, making it the sweet spot for many buyers.
• Limited: this trim adds the larger battery as standard, plus the most upscale equipment and the most advanced driver-assistance and parking features.

What Toyota bZ do most buyers choose?

The Toyota bZ years with the most listings are 2027 and 2026.

Higher-volume model years usually give you more choices in trim, color, and equipment, which makes it easier to compare listings and find a well-priced example. They also tend to be the years shoppers cross-shop most often, so you can use the broader market to judge value more confidently.
