What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus RZ?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the listing details match the car’s actual condition and equipment. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery-electric system, tires, brakes, and any signs of uneven wear or prior repairs. Focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, since a clean history does not replace a careful hands-on check.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus RZ?

This looks like a selective buyer’s market, so you can afford to be patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 300 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.42% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $32,355, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus RZ's resale value?

The current average of $34,314 sits slightly below last year's $35,166.

That softer pricing can help you buy with less upfront pressure, but it also suggests resale values have eased compared with a year ago. If you plan to sell later, condition and mileage will matter even more because the market is already pricing this model a bit lower than before. A well-kept example should hold up better than one with visible wear or incomplete records.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus RZ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.42% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,644, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $34,314 average.
• It introduced Lexus’s first dedicated electric SUV.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the stronger current-market mix of deal availability and clean inventory. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better value path, especially if you find one in similarly good condition.
