What owners say
"Overall, owners love the 2005 INFINITI G35 for its sporty performance, reliable engine, and luxury features, making it a fun and stylish car to drive. However, some drivers note issues with fuel economy and maintenance costs. Many appreciate the strong acceleration and handling, while others mention a lack of modern tech and the car's limited space for passengers and cargo."
I love the car overall. Could have some more power, but so could anything I drive, lol. It looks and runs great. Quality is well above average. It's a blast to drive. Gas mileage is a little on the low side, but it's all worth it.
October 27, 2009Great vehicle. I already have two Infiniti and definitely love the reliability of these vehicles
March 28, 2021This was one of my favorite cars that I've ever owned. Then engine is powerful and it delivers that power excellently to all four wheels! It had the right combination of fun and luxury for a guy like me, yet was perfect for a family as well.

August 15, 2013This is a great car. Amazing quality, plenty of power, great handling and terrific fit and finish. The car is fun to drive and it actually gets pretty good gas mileage even with the almost 300HP engine. Definitely recommend this car to my friends!
April 7, 2012I love my car, it is sporty the AWD system is amazing in the snow and the reliability in amesome, great Bose sound system, is amazing to drive, 0-60 in 6 seconds flat... just a great combination of fun and practicality!!
September 2, 2009Rapid acceleration, sticky handling, interior quality is excellent. This is just an all-around FUN car to drive, with beautiful styling, plus 26+ mpg on the hwy, 19-20 around town. Still, the sound the engine makes when running through the gears never fails to send shivers up my spine...!
June 10, 2009If you're not someone that tracks their car and demands razor sharp performance, the G35 Coupe is brilliant. The handling is more than adequate to provide loads of fun in daily driving, and passing power is excellent in every gear. The seats are also pretty supportive. The interior is a very nice place to be, and the exhaust note of the car is beautiful. There's a bit of road noise at high speeds, but other than that it's great. If you're looking for the best deal on a great luxury sport coupe, look no further. If you're a hardcore racer and want something that you can lap on the weekends, get an M3.
January 3, 2008One of the most affordably fun cars Ive ever driven. Has a super reliable engine and very few known serious issues, the only problems Ive had are related to bad electrical connections which intermittently causes a check engine light. I cleaned off the ground connections & let the ECU connector dry and it hasnt come back since though! Only other problems Ive experienced are bad ball joints on the control arm making steering tough at low speeds, a very wonky gas gauge, and bad power mirrors. At 146,000 miles and still going strong though! It has really sporty acceleration and handling for a sedan of this size, and the design of the car looks absolutely amazing in my opinion. Super reliable engine and drivetrain on the 05+ models, minor oil burning issues (but thats not uncommon on sport car engines anymore). Great feeling suspension aside from the bad ball joints (which are only $60 for both, and you can fix them yourself with a tool from autozone). Great car, would recommend for anyone looking for a fun, reliable, and relatively cheap car.
February 2, 2023I owned a g35 sedan it was a fantastic car a bit pricey to maintain but great power great ride
February 8, 2022I just love this car. I had owned an Infiniti J30 previous to this one so I was pretty sold on the make - reliable, powerful, and fun to drive. The car handles beautifully as it has such a solid build. Let me add, that it was rarely in the shop except for routine maintenance.
