What owners say
"Overall, drivers generally appreciate the 2009 Toyota Venza for its spaciousness and handling. Many have noted it as a good daily driver with solid performance, great fuel economy, and stylish design. However, some drivers wish for better technology options and improved pickup. Overall, it's seen as a great value, though a few aspects, like the packaging of options and seat colors, received some criticism."
This could be the best crossover vehicle ever made. Engine is gutsy, handling and acceleration are good. Only have to fill it up once every 1 1/2 weeks if there isn't much traveling to be done. Styling is completely epic.
July 19, 2010Great car it was ahead of its time. Wish it had better gas mileage. Rides nice
May 16, 2022I like the roominess and having AWD. I believe the car is a good value. I did consider Lexus RX, Acura MDX, RDX, Mazda CX9, Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot.

February 24, 2022Rides well. Good value for the money...love the fuel economy.
April 30, 2021car is a great daily driver , but the pick up is a bit of a drag. Handling though is excellent! On exit roundabouts and corners, the car handled great.
May 13, 2020Performance = Great Mileage = Very Good Exterior = Beautiful Interior = Class Comfort = Total Uniqueness = very few here so far Navi and Audio = Modern Buy It Again = Yes Dual Sun/Moon Roofs = Sweet Rear Seat / Leg Room = Huge Cargo Area = Ample Great for empty nesters or with 1 teenager or two very young kids.
November 8, 2009I saw the Venza at the New York auto show. The car looks really nice but I am looking for new technology similar to the new Infiniti EX. I was hoping Toyota would add more technology options. The car looks great but has Toyota same-old options. I guess I will have to wait for the FT-SX; and hope they come thru with technology.
March 22, 2008In Colorado, a must is 4-wd/AWD! Overall, nice vehicle. Toyota is the way to go!
February 24, 2022A great car especially if you are looking for something to serve the purpose with minimal bells and whistles.
November 24, 2021Toyota needs to package options differently. Often options are not offered without buying a number of things you don't want or need in the car. If you are buying the 2.7 it is almost impossible to get desired options because of the packaging. Seat colors are all too light. This is a problem for families with children and pets. They will not wear well even with leather interior.
