2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid Reviews, Pricing & Specs

What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid are very pleased with its fuel efficiency, reliability, and spacious interior. Many drivers appreciate the advanced tech features and safety options, mentioning a smooth ride and good power. However, some owners reported an unpleasant smell coming from the air conditioning system, which they feel should be addressed by Toyota."
I love this car so much! I do miss the smaller features of my 2014 Ford Fusion like the navigation and sunroof. However, the fuel economy with the Toyota Camry hybrid is better than the fusion and it has many of the features I am already used to. It offers a smooth ride, great connectivity with your phone via Bluetooth, and the adaptive cruise control is great for thruway driving. Overall, I feel this is a great value and I'm happy with my purchase so far!
April 9, 2026Purchased this car as my daily commuter. This car gives me between 46-50 mpg. The interior is spacious. The seats are comfortable. The standard safety features (lane assist, adaptive cruise control, etc.) make this car a pleasure to drive. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the of a strange smell that the AC system produces. According to several forums it is a common problem with this model. There are several resources online that show you how to get rid of the smell which is helpful, but I think it is something that Toyota should fix since its clearly a design flaw. Overall I am very happy with the car. It gets wonderful MPG, its spacious and its standard safety features enhance the daily driving experience.
August 22, 2021Great car, 2nd Camry we have had. Great pickup speed - better than just gas powered, Incredible mileage, and the “ regular size “ tires versus “ low profile “ tires make the ride smoother too ! I would buy another Camry Hybrid.
