What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5 are quite impressed with the vehicle, noting its smooth drive, luxurious feel, and great features. Many appreciate its affordability compared to similar electric models like Tesla and the overall value for money. On the downside, some reviewers mentioned concerns about dealer surcharges and the lack of certain perks when buying used."
There arent many crossover/SUV cars at this price point that arent Teslas. (Teslae?) Theres the Kia EV6, but in my experience comparably-equipped EV6s are priced higher. Theres the VW ID.4, but its reviews in head-to-head comparisons vs. the Ioniq 5 rate it lower in every category except handling - that includes charge time, range, cargo spaces, leg room, head room, etc. The Ioniq 5 seems to be the best entry in its class, and the styling slaps.
September 2, 2023Test drive the Ioniq 5 Limited AWD. Above average acceleration . Handling is better than expected as taller vehicle benefits from low center of gravity due to battery location and weight as well as long wheel base and wide tire stance. Excellent materials with great fit and finish. Simplicity and minimalistic design yet extremely well equipped with safety and comfort features. Good value which would be even better but for greedy dealer surcharges/market adjustments which inflate purchase price.
August 13, 2022I did my homework and the Ioniq5 won out over both the Tesla AWD option and the Subaru Solterra. Sleek, comfortable, and any feature imaginable! So, so happy!

May 12, 2022This car is everything I wanted in an ev. Great range, super fast charging, technology for days and more. Only downside is you dont get the 2 years free charging if you buy used!!
December 1, 2022The ioniq 5 (Hi5) is a refined luxury car priced much better and Billy much better than the Tesla model y. Drive both, back to back, and the decision is clear. The Hi5 limited is the nicest car I have been in and I owned many BMWs and Mercedes. The thoughtful details will delight for years to come.
May 17, 2022Wonderful car and that has state-of-the-art looking features. Wish the car had a printed owners manual.
March 18, 2024Car is good fast and reliable charges fast. I love it
July 20, 2023Larger than my current 2020 Nissan Leaf which we like very much. Nissan has an Arava thats similar but Ioniq has more bells and whistles.
September 9, 2022Awesome car for the money! One realizes this when you do the diligent research needed.
July 24, 2022I went to test drive the car and I was very impressed by it. It is very simply in the interior of the vehicle but it drives very smooth. The model i drove cost about 56k, so it was priced at an affordable level for an electric car that just came out. Out of 1 to 10 I would give it a 6.
