What’s New for the 2024 Audi S3
For 2024, the S3 sees just a few updates, which include standard matte carbon-style interior trim. All but the base model are now available with Nappa leather upholstery.
Design
Trims for the 2024 S3 are Premium, Premium Plus, and Prestige. All trims come with 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in summer run-flat tires. A Black Optics package is available, and a black-painted roof is a standalone option. The range-topping Prestige trim adds Matrix-design LED headlights.
Powertrain
The 2024 Audi S3 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which makes 306 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD).
This setup allows the S3 on the standard summer tires to sprint from zero to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 155 mph. (With all-season tires, this top speed drops to 130 mph.) The S3 also features an S Sport suspension to ensure adept cornering abilities. The Premium Plus and Prestige trims are available with an S Sport package that includes red brake calipers and an upgraded Sport suspension with damper control.
This powertrain returns fuel economy of 23 mpg city, 32 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined. The Audi S3 requires premium fuel.
Interior
Standard features in the S3 Premium include tri-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic moonroof, push-button start, ambient cabin lighting, leather upholstery, and eight-way power-adjustable front sport seats. The Premium Plus trim adds features such as driver’s seat memory settings and Audi’s Advance Key. The Nappa leather upholstery that is optional on the Premium Plus and Prestige trims has a fetching diamond stitch pattern in the center panels of the seats. The Audi S3’s trunk provides just 8.3 cubic feet of cargo space.
Technology
No matter which trim you select, the Audi S3 comes equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It is easy to use and includes wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. The S3 also comes with a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument panel, a 10-speaker stereo, and multiple USB ports. Stepping up to the Premium Plus trim adds wireless device charging, and the Prestige trim includes a Bang & Olufsen 15-speaker premium stereo system.
