What’s New for the 2025 Lexus TX Hybrid
The Lexus TX Hybrid was all-new for the 2024 model year and enters its sophomore year on the market with few changes. It is based on a platform shared with the Toyota Grand Highlander, underscoring the spaciousness and versatility of both vehicles.
Design
The TX's clean lines and tall greenhouse hint at the ample cabin space within. The front end has a clean design with a large, slatted grille. The D-pillar, located between the rear or side window and the rear of the vehicle, is blacked out in an effort to mask just how large this vehicle is. The TX Hybrid is offered in Premium and Luxury trims for 2025. Both come equipped with 22-inch alloy wheels.
Powertrain
The 2025 TX 500h utilizes a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that works with two electric motors to put out a combined 366 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. It routes power through a six-speed automatic transmission to standard all-wheel drive (AWD). When properly equipped, the TX Hybrid can tow up to 5,000 pounds. EPA fuel economy estimates for the TX Hybrid are 27 mpg city, 28 highway, and 27 combined. The TX is designed for on-road use and, impressively, comes standard with an adaptive suspension system.

Interior
With the second and third rows folded, the TX Hybrid provides up to 97 cubic feet of cargo space. With the second row in use, it has 57.4 cubic feet of cargo space, and with the second and third rows in use, there are 20.2 cubic feet of cargo space.
The Premium trim comes standard with synthetic leather upholstery, heated and ventilated first and second row seats, second-row captain's chairs, push-button start, automatic climate control, and ambient cabin lighting. The Luxury trim adds a panoramic sunroof, genuine leather upholstery, and a heated steering wheel.
Technology
The standard infotainment system on the 2025 TX Hybrid consists of a 14-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. It also comes standard with wireless device charging, a fully digital instrument panel, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The TX Hybrid is available with a 21-speaker Mark Levinson premium stereo system.
