What’s New for the 2025 Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid
The Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid is reintroduced for the 2025 model year after a hiatus for 2024, while the Panamera lineup underwent a refresh. The Panamera E-Hybrid is offered in 4, 4S, Turbo, and Turbo S trims. Porsche says the top-end Turbo S E-Hybrid is the most powerful production Panamera yet.
Design
The Panamera is a lean yet big, muscular, fastback-styled sedan with a long nose and a cabin set back over the rear haunches, with a sweeping roofline. It’s elegant, without apologizing for its strength or power.
Turbo versions of the Panamera get exclusive front and rear fascia designs and Dark Bronze tailpipe. Turbonite metallic gray paint is also available exclusively on Turbo models, with coordinating styling elements inside. The Turbo S wears big 21-inch forged wheels in the aforementioned Turbonite, which show off ceramic-composite brakes with calipers available in yellow or Acid Green, though base E-Hybrids wear a range of lovely 19-inch wheels. The Turbo S E-Hybrid is also available with ultra high-performance tires and a carbon fiber body kit.
Powertrain
The Panamera 4 and 4S E-Hybrid models feature 463 and 536 horsepower, respectively, from their V6 engines and electric motors. The Turbo’s 670 hp comes from a V8 engine setup. The Turbo S E-Hybrid boasts a whopping 771 hp and 737 lb-ft of torque, thanks to its 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine.
Porsche made updates to the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, namely better heat resistance and better surfaces, to better handle the torque. Porsche claims a 2.8-second zero-to-60-mph time and a top speed of 202 mph for the top Turbo S E-Hybrid.
All-wheel drive (AWD) comes standard. As of this writing, the EPA hasn’t yet published fuel economy ratings for the 2025 Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid, and Porsche hasn’t disclosed these plug-in hybrids’ all-electric driving ranges.
Interior
The Porsche Panamera seats four in its sumptuous, spacious cabin. Could three people fit in the second row? Easily, but that takes away its exclusivity. The Panamera E-Hybrid lineup features sparse yet performance-inspired design similar to the rest of the lineup, with upscale materials like faux suede headlining and Turbonite-finished trim and stitching that coordinates with cars wearing Turbonite paint. Buyers get the choice of comfort or sport seats for the front, as well as a long menu of colors and leather grades to peruse.
Technology
The Porsche Panamera E-Hybrid comes standard with a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, voice recognition, and a 10-speaker stereo. Options include a second 10.9-inch touchscreen for the front passenger, a rear-row entertainment system, and Bose or Burmester premium audio systems.
