What’s New for the 2026 Lucid Gravity
The Gravity is the second vehicle in the startup California automaker’s lineup and the brand’s first SUV. It follows the well-received Air sedan. It comes standard with a dual-motor powertrain, two- or three-row seating, a pair of batteries that provide up to 450 miles of range, and DC fast charging at up to 400 kW.
Design
Combine a minivan and a crossover SUV, and you get the Lucid Gravity. In profile, it takes the shape of a minivan with a sloped front end, positioned in front of a large box. But it doesn’t have the sliding side doors of a minivan. Up front, it features a satin chrome unibrow over a thin slit of grille and segmented headlights. Vertical daytime running lights frame the nose. The flanks are curved and convex to alleviate a slab-sided look. The rear is topped by a built-in spoiler and features a full-width taillight and a satin-chrome lower trim piece that spans the width of the vehicle. Lucid offers Stealth and Platinum trim options; Stealth darkens much of the exterior trim, and Platinum brightens it. Wheels and tires are staggered in size: the Gravity gets front 20-inch wheels and rear 21s, 21s and 22s, or 22s and 23s.
Powertrain
Both Lucid Gravity models come standard with a dual-motor AWD system. The front and rear motors make 560 horsepower and 811 pound-feet of torque in the Touring model and 828 hp and 909 lb-ft of torque in the Grand Touring.
The Touring has an 89-kWh battery that provides 301 miles of range with the larger wheel-and-tire packages and 337 miles of range with the smaller 20s and 21s. The Grand Touring ups the battery size to 123 kWh, which offers 386 miles of range with three rows of seats and the larger wheel packages, and 437 miles with the smaller wheels. The Grand Touring with two rows of seats gets 407 miles of range with the larger wheels and 450 miles with the smaller wheels. The Gravity comes standard with an NACS charging port for Tesla Superchargers and can charge at 400 kW. The Touring can tow 3,500 pounds, while the Grand Touring can pull 6,000 pounds.

Interior
The Gravity comes standard with synthetic-leather upholstery and seats five in two rows. A seven-passenger configuration with third-row seating is optional. The front seats have 12-way power adjustments, and the driver’s seat comes standard with memory. Leather is optional, as are heated and ventilated front seats with 18-way power adjustments. A glass roof, ambient interior lighting, and four-zone automatic climate control are also standard.
Cargo room is generous, topping out at 111.9 cubic feet with the two-row model and the rear seats folded down, and up to 106.9 cubic feet in the three-row version. The Gravity also has an 8.1-cubic-foot front trunk (frunk).
Technology
Gravity buyers get a standard 34-inch screen that encompasses the instrument cluster and other displays. A 12.6-inch infotainment touchscreen sits below the massive screen. Navigation is standard, as are wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A head-up display and a wireless smartphone charger are optional. The Gravity comes standard with a 10-speaker Surreal Sound audio system, and a 22-speaker Surreal unit is optional.
