What’s New for the 2027 Buick Enclave
The Enclave's 2027 changes are limited to exterior paint and interior upholstery. Ocean Blue Metallic has been dropped from the Preferred and Avenir trims’ available paint schemes, replaced by a new Emerald Green Metallic on Preferred and both Emerald Green Metallic and Blue Onyx on Avenir. Sport Touring's exterior colors carry over unchanged. Inside, the Avenir's Cool Gray seats with Slate Blue accents and Cool Gray seats with Mocha accents have been consolidated into a single Cool Gray with Twilight Ash interior accents option, while Preferred and Sport Touring interiors are unchanged. For 2026, the Enclave gained the Technology and Trailering packages as standard equipment, adding features such as adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic emergency braking, a hands-free power liftgate, a trailer hitch with Hitch View camera guidance, and a tow/haul mode, along with a rear camera mirror on the Avenir's Power package.
Design
The Enclave cuts a standard SUV shape fronted by a frowning trapezoidal grille, thin LED headlights, and lower air intakes separated from the grille by chrome or black ‘fangs’. The Buick emblem sits at the front of a hood that curves down to the nose. The flanks are largely unadorned, though they have subtle wheel flares and black trim around the wheels and rocker panels that add a traditional SUV look. The rear is characterized by a built-in spoiler and a thin, full-width LED taillight. The Sport Touring model includes blacked-out trim on the grille and around the headlights and windows. Buick sets the Enclave on standard 20-inch alloy wheels, with 22s available as an option for all trims.
Powertrain
The Enclave gets just one powertrain, a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that makes 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. It’s mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends the power to the front or all four wheels via available all-wheel drive (AWD). Fuel economy comes in at 20 mpg city, 25 highway, 22 combined with front-wheel drive and 20/24/21 mpg with all-wheel drive. The Enclave can tow up to 5,000 pounds.
Interior
The Enclave can carry seven people across its three rows of seats. It comes standard with synthetic leather upholstery, an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, a six-way power-adjustable front passenger seat, and tri-zone automatic climate control. The Sport Touring upgrades to perforated synthetic leather upholstery and a flat-bottomed steering wheel. The Avenir gets leather upholstery, massaging and ventilated front seats, driver’s seat memory, a power-adjustable steering column, heated outboard rear seats, and ambient lighting. A panoramic sunroof is standard on the top Avenir trim and available for the mid-grade Sport Touring. Cargo space is, well, spacious. The Enclave has 22.9 cubic feet of room behind the third row, 57.1 cubic feet behind the second row with the third-row seats folded down, and 97.5 cubic feet with the rear two rows folded flat.
Technology
The Enclave gets a standard 30-inch screen that combines the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment touchscreen. The infotainment system has Google built-in and Google Gemini, as well as navigation. Also standard are remote start, a satellite radio trial, a wireless phone charger, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, and an interior camera. The Enclave also comes with three years of OnStar One, which includes a Wi-Fi hotspot, safety services, and in-vehicle apps. The standard audio system is a 12-speaker Bose unit, but the Avenir trim gets a 16-speaker Bose system.
