Moving up to the Premium Plus adds a wireless charging pad, Audi’s Virtual Cockpit digital instrument panel, a 360-degree camera system, and adaptive cruise control that can follow the flow of traffic. The range-topping Prestige trim adds startup and shut-down animations for the head- and taillights, navigation, a head-up display, and a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo system.
The S5 is powered by a turbocharged, intercooled 3.0-liter V6 engine, which makes 354 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed to Quattro all-wheel-drive (AWD) through an eight-speed automatic transmission with manual tap-shift mode. The S5 also has a drive mode selector, with Comfort, Auto, Dynamic, and Individual (custom) modes. Each mode has unique tuning for the throttle response, transmission mapping, and steering feel.
