Used 2022 Buick Enclave for Sale nearColumbus, OH

How much does the 2022 Buick Enclave cost?

Prices have softened 15.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,817 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of inventory to compare.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Buick Enclave earns a 4.67/5 user rating and a 7/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Form and function.

Drivers consistently praise the quiet cabin, smooth ride, and spacious interior, and many also call out the comfortable, luxurious feel. The Enclave’s comfort-first identity fits you well if you want a three-row SUV that’s easy to live with and geared toward family use.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy and weaker value for money, which are echoed in the expert assessment. Even so, 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 4.67/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

User feedback points to a reliable, trouble-free ownership experience centered on comfort, quietness, and confidence in everyday use. The Enclave’s smooth, drama-free driving character also supports the impression that it’s built to be easy to count on over time.

Buick’s first scheduled maintenance visit is included, which helps soften early ownership costs. For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is less about outright dependability and more about higher running costs if fuel use and repairs matter to your budget.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper paper trail. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on cabin condition, electronics, and signs of heavy family use, since this is a three-row SUV that may have seen a lot of daily duty. Pay close attention to how well the comfort and driver-assist features work, especially if you’re shopping a higher-trim example.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Essence trim is the starting point, while Premium and Avenir add more upscale equipment and features. The base trim is missing some of the richer touches found higher up, so you should compare cabin materials and convenience features carefully if you want the best value.
• Powertrain: The Enclave uses a 3.6-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission, with front-wheel drive standard and all-wheel drive available. It’s tuned for smooth, quiet driving rather than efficiency, and the available AWD setup adds capability without changing the SUV’s comfort-first personality.
• Safety package: Buick Driver Confidence Plus is standard, and it includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keeping assistance with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. Premium adds enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert.
• Infotainment: Essence gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto plus wireless phone charging. Premium and Avenir add navigation, and the system can pair up to 10 devices with two smartphones active at once.
• Fuel efficiency: The front-wheel-drive version returns 21 mpg combined, while the all-wheel-drive version returns 20 mpg combined. During testing, it averaged 20.2 mpg in mixed driving.

Which 2022 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2022 Buick Enclave is offered in 3 trim levels: Essence, Premium, Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Essence: This is the best-value choice if you want the Enclave’s core strengths without paying for extras you may not need. You still get the V6 powertrain, the standard safety package, wireless smartphone integration, and the roomy, quiet character that defines the model.
• Premium: This is the trim to target if you want a stronger mix of comfort and convenience. It adds navigation and more advanced driver-assistance equipment, making it the most balanced step up for many shoppers.
• Avenir: This is the most upscale version, with unique exterior and interior details, standard climate-controlled front seats, heated second-row captain’s chairs, and the richest feature set. It’s the right pick if you want the most luxurious Enclave experience.

Premium adds the extra safety and convenience features, while Avenir brings the most complete package.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Buick Enclave?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,817 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.50% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $26,452, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Buick Enclave's resale value?

The current average of $26,452 sits slightly below last year's $31,306.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price now, you reduce the chance of taking a bigger depreciation hit later. The Enclave’s strong comfort reputation should help it stay appealing to shoppers who want a quiet, spacious three-row SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.67/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2022 Buick Enclave safe?

The 2022 Buick Enclave earns Good ratings in all but one IIHS crash test, where it received an Acceptable score, and it earns a four-star rollover rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Buick Driver Confidence Plus is standard on all trims, and it includes automatic emergency braking, forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, lane-change alert with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic warning, lane-keeping assistance with lane-departure warning, rear park assist, following-distance indicator, and automatic high-beam headlights. Premium adds enhanced automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera, head-up display, and rear pedestrian alert.

The main caveat is the IIHS side-impact result, which trails the Enclave’s otherwise strong crash-test performance.

Should I buy a 2022 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.67/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Buick made standard driver-assistance and safety technology part of the 2022 refresh.

Consider the 2021 if:

• At $23,248, the 2021 costs less than the current year's $26,452 average.
• It is especially appealing in its top trim level.

The bottom line: If you want the more modern Enclave with standard safety tech, wireless smartphone integration, and a fresher cabin, the 2022 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2021 is the smarter value play, especially if you’re willing to shop carefully for a well-kept example.
