It provides a spacious, well-equipped cabin and a confident, comfortable ride. ## What’s New for the 2024 Audi A8 The Audi A8 was last updated in 2022, and for the 2024 model year, not much has changed. Owners receive a six-month subscription to Audi Connect PLUS. This brings several features into the infotainment system, including gaming, music, weather, and more. It also allows for remote start from an Audi smartphone app. ## Design The Audi A8 is exclusively offered in the extended A8 L configuration. This provides larger rear doors, giving way to ample rear-seat space. The single trim offered comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels. 21-inch alloy wheels are available. The Black Optics package features black exterior trim, while the Black Optics Plus package features black wheels, a black Audi logo, and black brake calipers. ## Powertrain Only one powertrain is offered in the Audi A8: a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine. It makes 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission to Audi’s Quattro all-wheel drive (AWD). The A8 can go from zero to 60 mph in 5.6 seconds. It also comes standard with an adaptive air suspension to ensure a pleasant drive that soaks up bumps in the road. The Luxury Package adds all-wheel steering. EPA estimates for fuel economy are 19 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined. The A8 requires premium fuel. ## Interior Standard features on the 2024 A8 include quad-zone automatic climate control, 22-way power-adjustable front seats, heated and ventilated front seats, leather upholstery, and a panoramic moonroof. The Executive Package adds a heated steering wheel and a multi-color ambient cabin lighting system. The Luxury Package adds power-adjustable and massaging rear seats. The Audi A8 provides up to 12.5 cubic feet of cargo space, accessed via a power trunk lid. ## Technology The Audi infotainment system in the A8 consists of a two-screen setup in the center console. The 8.6-inch lower touchscreen operates climate controls and vehicle functions, while the 10.1-inch upper touchscreen operates the entertainment functions, including Amazon Alexa, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. The A8 also comes standard with a fully digital instrument panel, wireless device charging, and a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound system. ## Safety The A8 comes equipped with a number of driver-assistance features as standard equipment.
