Is the 2024 Audi S5 Sportback reliable?

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Audi S5 Sportback?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or incomplete maintenance. Pay extra attention to cosmetic condition, tire wear, and how well the car has been cared for, since those details can reveal how the vehicle was treated over time.

• Deal availability: 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

What is the 2024 Audi S5 Sportback's resale value?

The current average of $49,313 sits slightly below last year's $52,854.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the car more attractive to buyers today but may also mean sellers need to price carefully. If you buy at the right number and keep the car in strong condition, you’ll be better positioned to protect value later. A softer market can also create a better entry point for you now, especially if you plan to hold the car for several years.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Audi S5 Sportback or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 40.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, available inventory, and owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can also compare nearby years to see whether a lower entry price outweighs the benefits of this year’s market softness and deal availability.
