How much does the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ cost?

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ earns a 4.6/5 from owners and a 6.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Owners consistently praise its comfortable and quiet ride, stylish appearance, strong acceleration, and advanced tech features. The LYRIQ also gets credit for its impressive range and upscale cabin presentation.

The trade-offs are clear: the driving experience is less engaging than its styling suggests, handling is poor, and some reviewers mention charging and electronics concerns. For you, that means the LYRIQ makes the most sense if you value comfort, design, and tech over sporty road manners.

With 35.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there’s enough market softness to make this a worthwhile shopping target.

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Review feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable in daily use, with owners repeatedly highlighting its comfortable ride, strong acceleration, and impressive range. The same feedback also suggests you should pay attention to charging behavior and electronics, since those are the areas most often mentioned as concerns.

The expert evaluation reinforces that this is a comfort-focused EV built for long-distance use, with calm highway manners and a battery setup designed for regular commuting and road trips. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is making sure the charging system and electronics are working as intended before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one that has seen frequent fast charging. Focus on overall condition, charging performance, and whether the cabin electronics behave consistently.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: On Tech and Luxury trims, the grille lines sweep in four directions toward the illuminated Cadillac crest, while the Sport trim is notably muted with a dark triangular motif. The standard 20-inch wheels soften the visual impact compared with the 22-inch setup.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a single rear motor with 340 hp and 325 lb-ft, while the optional dual-motor setup delivers 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque with continuous all-wheel drive. The dual-motor version is the stronger choice if you want more traction and output.
• Safety package: Forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and Cadillac's Safety Alert Seat come standard. Adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, rear emergency braking, and a rear camera displayed on the rearview mirror are optional.
• Infotainment: The 33-inch OLED screen has three sections, with native Google Maps and Google Assistant built in. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, and the interface is described as simple and high-quality.
• Range & charging: Cadillac claims 314 miles of range with rear-wheel drive and 307 miles with all-wheel drive. The battery pack is 102 kilowatt-hours, and DC fast charging can top the battery to 80 percent in about 30 to 35 minutes.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm how the car has been charged over time, and review whether most charging has been done at home or through DC fast charging. Also verify how much of the battery warranty remains so you know what protection you still have.

Which 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ trim should I buy?

The 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ is offered in 3 trim levels: Tech, Luxury, Sport.

Here's the short version:

• Tech: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core LYRIQ experience with the standard safety and tech equipment. It makes sense if you want the cleanest path into the model without paying for appearance or comfort extras.
• Luxury: This is the best-value trim if you want the LYRIQ’s upscale character to feel more complete. It builds on the base setup with a more premium presentation and is the trim most buyers should start with if comfort and cabin polish matter most.
• Sport: Choose this if you want the darker exterior treatment and the most aggressive visual theme. It’s the right pick if styling matters more to you than value.

The standard safety package includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and Cadillac's Safety Alert Seat.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ?

• Deal availability: 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,590 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,896, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ's resale value?

The current average of $37,896 sits slightly below last year's $41,479.

That decline suggests the LYRIQ has moved into a more buyer-friendly pricing zone, which can help you if you’re shopping now but may pressure future resale if the market keeps softening. For a seller, the current trend means you may need to price competitively to stand out, especially against the broader EV market.

The good news is that the LYRIQ still has strong appeal thanks to its styling, comfort, and technology. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ safe?

The 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ has not been crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance equipment includes forward automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, and Cadillac's Safety Alert Seat. Adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, rear emergency braking, and a rear camera displayed on the rearview mirror are optional.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• After a shortened 2023 introduction, the 2024 Lyriq is the first full model year of Cadillac's midsize electric SUV.

The bottom line: If you want the most complete version of the LYRIQ’s design, comfort, and technology story, the 2024 model is the one to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can use the softened market and broad inventory to shop selectively and wait for a strong deal rather than paying near the top of the range.
