Used 2024 Jeep Gladiator for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2024 Jeep Gladiator cost?

Prices have softened 10.49% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,286 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator a good car?

Yes — 4.5/5 from users and 7.33/10 from experts point to a truck that delivers on its core mission. The 2024 Gladiator stands out because you can remove the roof and doors, and it is built to be a serious off-road pickup rather than a conventional midsize truck. Jeep also updated it for 2024 with minor styling revisions, next-generation infotainment technology, added comfort and convenience features, and new range-topping trim levels.

The trade-offs are clear: fuel economy is poor, the ride can be rough, and the cabin is loud at higher speeds. It also asks you to accept a more utilitarian interior and a value proposition that depends heavily on whether you care about its open-air personality and trail ability.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Technology.

Only 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Gladiator’s appeal comes from a proven formula: open-air driving, pickup utility, and strong off-road capability. Jeep’s 2024 updates also add more comfort and convenience, which can help the truck feel more polished than before. The expert evaluation also notes that the Gladiator’s character is built around what it can do, not around refinement.

Its powertrain is described as tried-and-true, and the truck’s updated infotainment and added features suggest Jeep is continuing to refine the package. If you buy used, the main ownership risk is that the same traits that make it special — rougher ride quality, noise, and efficiency compromises — are still part of the experience.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Gladiator?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has seen trail use or heavy towing. Focus on wear items that can reveal how hard the Gladiator has been used, and pay close attention to the condition of the roof, doors, interior surfaces, and underbody.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup starts with Sport, Willys, Mojave, and Rubicon, with Sport S plus the new-for-2024 Mojave X and Rubicon X also mentioned. Base versions are lighter on standard equipment, while the higher trims add more comfort and capability.
• Powertrain: The 2024 Gladiator continues with a 3.6-liter V6 making 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. Depending on configuration, it can tow up to 7,700 pounds and haul up to 1,725 pounds of payload.
• Safety package: Starting with the Sport S, forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability are standard. The Mojave X and Rubicon X add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The truck gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, Bluetooth pairing for two smartphones, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel economy is poor, and the expert test truck averaged 16.7 mpg over more than 175 miles of mixed driving.

Which 2024 Jeep Gladiator trim should I buy?

The 2024 Jeep Gladiator is offered in 7 trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Willys, Mojave, Rubicon, Mojave X, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is the most stripped-down version of the lineup, so it makes the most sense if you want the lowest starting price and plan to add equipment selectively.
• Sport S: This is the best-value trim because it adds the standard forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability, making it the smartest starting point for most used buyers.
• Willys: Choose this if you want a more trail-focused personality without jumping all the way to the higher-priced specialty trims.
• Mojave: This is the desert-running version, with a one-inch front suspension lift, FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks, a Tru-Lok locking rear differential, heavy-duty axles, and Off-Road+ mode.
• Rubicon: Pick this if you want the most serious off-road hardware in the core lineup and are willing to pay for it.
• Mojave X: This adds more luxury and convenience on top of the Mojave formula, including 12-way power-adjustable front seats and premium leather upholstery.
• Rubicon X: This is the top-end choice if you want the Rubicon’s off-road focus with the added premium features of the X treatment.

Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors are standard on the Mojave X and Rubicon X.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Gladiator?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop carefully without expecting deep discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,286 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.49% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $37,790, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator's resale value?

The current average of $37,790 sits slightly below last year's $42,220.

That decline suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more confidently now but may also mean future resale gains are limited unless demand strengthens. For a seller, the Gladiator’s unique open-air appeal and off-road identity can still support interest, especially in well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Because prices have already softened, your best resale outcome will likely come from buying carefully and keeping the truck in strong condition. Trim, mileage, and overall presentation should matter a lot when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Jeep Gladiator safe?

The Jeep Gladiator earns a three-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA, and IIHS is unimpressed with its headlights, seatbelt warnings, and pedestrian detection and protection systems.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Starting with the Sport S model, forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control with full stop capability are standard. The Mojave X and Rubicon X add blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and rear parking sensors. Jeep also says the 2024 model has structural improvements for side-impact protection and side-curtain airbags embedded in the roll cage.

The main caveat is that safety equipment is still limited relative to many rivals, and the rollover rating is a reminder that you should drive it with care, especially in abrupt lane-change situations.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Gladiator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.49% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It brings updated styling, a new 12.3-inch infotainment system, and added comfort and convenience features.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,061, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $37,790 average.
• It offers Wrangler-like character with open-air utility and strong off-road appeal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $40,928, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $37,790 average.
• It adds special-edition models and standard power windows and door locks on the Sport trim.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of the Gladiator’s formula, the 2024 is the sweet spot because it adds meaningful tech and comfort updates without losing the truck’s core personality. If price matters most, the 2023 is the better value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you specifically want its newer equipment and are comfortable paying more.
