How much does the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado cost?

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado earns a 4.5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. Drivers commonly praise its smooth performance, towing capacity, and spacious cabin, and the truck’s practical balance of comfort and utility makes it appealing if you want a midsize pickup that can handle work duties without feeling oversized. The broad trim range also helps you tailor it to your needs, whether you want a basic work truck or a more off-road-focused setup. With 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado reliable?

Owners rate it 4.5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Drivers describe it as smooth and dependable, and the user feedback also points to a truck that feels capable and easy to live with over time. That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to maintenance history and condition, since long-term ownership risk is best managed by choosing a well-kept example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2022 Chevrolet Colorado?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus your inspection on signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or poor repairs. Because this model year is known for some transmission concerns, a careful test drive and a thorough mechanical inspection matter more than usual. It also helps to compare trim and equipment condition closely, since the Colorado’s value can vary a lot depending on how it was optioned and used.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2022 Chevrolet Colorado?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,775 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $25,706, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2022 Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

The current average of $25,932 sits slightly below last year's $28,614.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy at a better entry point now. For a future seller, the softer trend means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and trim appeal than on broad market momentum. Well-kept trucks with desirable equipment should still hold up better than average.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2022 Chevrolet Colorado or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2022 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2022 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.37% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,665, the 2023 costs more than the current year's $25,932 average.
• It shifts to a crew-cab, short-bed setup with more modern standard tech.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2022 if you want a lower entry price, plenty of listings, and strong owner satisfaction. If you want the newer redesign and are willing to pay more, the 2023 is the better secondary path; price-sensitive buyers will likely find the 2022 the smarter value play.
