Used 2024 Ford F-150 for Sale nearPhoenix, AZ

How much does the 2024 Ford F-150 cost?

Prices have softened 10.68% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 9,571 listings available, which suggests you should have a healthy set of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Ford F-150 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Ford F-150 earns a 4.57/5 user rating and an 8.00/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Form and function and Technology.

Owners consistently praise the powerful engine, smooth driving experience, and good towing capability. The review summary also points to a broad range of features available at a more affordable price than higher trims, which helps the truck feel versatile for both work and everyday use.

On the downside, the expert review notes some advanced safety features are not standard and that the unladen ride can be bouncy. The overview also frames the truck as a fit for everything from school runs to hauling and towing, so you should expect a highly capable full-size truck rather than a soft-riding daily driver.

With 32.5% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Ford F-150 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner summary uses language that points to a truck people feel they can count on, with praise for its dependable power delivery and trouble-free everyday usability. It also highlights the truck’s strong towing capability and smooth driving experience, both of which tend to matter in long-term ownership.

The expert review reinforces that sense of durability by describing the F-150 as capable and well-suited to demanding use, with a powertrain lineup built for work and daily driving alike. Ford also includes a three-year/36,000-mile factory warranty and a five-year/60,000-mile powertrain warranty, which adds some ownership reassurance.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a heavily optioned or hard-used truck can be expensive to keep in top shape, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Ford F-150?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if the truck has been used for towing, hauling, or off-road driving. Focus on wear in the suspension, brakes, tires, and interior touchpoints, since those areas can reveal how hard the truck has been worked. It also makes sense to compare trim content carefully, because the F-150’s equipment spread is wide.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base XL is pretty spartan, while higher trims like the King Ranch add heated and ventilated front leather seats, heated rear seats, wood trim, and ambient lighting. Mid trims can still show too many cheap-looking surfaces, so you should inspect cabin materials closely if you want a more upscale feel.
• Powertrain: The standard engine is a turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, while the PowerBoost Hybrid is available on the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum trims and delivers 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque. The Tremor uses a 5.0-liter V8 with 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, and the Raptor R uses a 5.2-liter supercharged V8 with 720 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque.
• Safety package: Every model comes with Ford CoPilot 360, which includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and cross traffic alert. A 360-degree camera is recommended on higher trims, and BlueCruise is available on Tremor and up. Lane-change assist and lane-repositioning are also part of the updated system.
• Infotainment: All trucks get a 12-inch touchscreen running SYNC 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-inch reconfigurable digital gauge cluster, satellite radio, a 5G LTE wireless hotspot, and wireless charging. An available head-up display adds another useful layer of information.
• Fuel efficiency: The hybrid setup is EPA-rated at 22 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 23 combined.

Which 2024 Ford F-150 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Ford F-150 is offered in 8 trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Tremor, Raptor, and Raptor R.

Here's the short version:

• XL: This is the most basic version, and the content makes clear that it is pretty spartan. It makes sense if you want the lowest entry point and plan to add only the equipment you truly need.
• XLT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it opens the door to the PowerBoost Hybrid and useful upgrades without jumping straight into luxury pricing. It also can be paired with the Medium Dark Smoked Truffle interior.
• Lariat: This trim adds more upscale appeal and can also be had with the hybrid powertrain. It is a good fit if you want a more polished truck without going all the way to the premium end.
• King Ranch: This is the luxury-leaning choice, with heated and ventilated front leather seats, heated rear seats, wood trim, and ambient lighting. It suits you if comfort and cabin richness matter as much as capability.
• Platinum: This trim sits near the top of the mainstream lineup and can also be paired with the hybrid powertrain. It is a strong pick if you want a high-end feel with broad capability.
• Tremor: This is the off-road-focused choice, with a standard 5.0-liter V8, 33-inch tires, a 1-inch lift, off-road-tuned shocks and springs, beefy control arms, and an electronic locking rear differential. It suits you if you want trail capability without going all the way to the most extreme model.
• Raptor: This trim is the performance-oriented off-road model in the lineup and is aimed at buyers who want serious desert-running hardware.
• Raptor R: This is the most extreme version, with a supercharged V8, massive 37-inch tires, and upgraded Fox Live Valve shocks with variable rebound control. It is for you if you want the wildest F-150 experience and are willing to pay for it.

The safety package starts with Ford CoPilot 360, while BlueCruise is available on Tremor and higher trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Ford F-150?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 9,571 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.68% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $45,682, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Ford F-150's resale value?

The current average of $45,682 sits slightly below last year's $51,142.

That price movement suggests the truck has already absorbed some depreciation, which can help future resale stability if you buy at the right number. If you choose a well-equipped trim with broad appeal, you may have an easier time attracting the next buyer later.

The market also shows meaningful inventory and a decent share of good deals, which means your purchase price matters a lot for eventual resale. Buying below the current average gives you a better chance of preserving value if the truck stays in strong condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Ford F-150 safe?

The 2024 Ford F-150 earns five-star overall ratings from NHTSA, with five-star side-crash and frontal-crash ratings and four-star rollover ratings. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the 2024 F-150 SuperCrew the top score of Good in driver- and passenger-side crashworthiness, while front-crash testing received a Poor rating for possible injuries to rear-seat passengers.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Every 2024 F-150 comes with Ford CoPilot 360, which includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist, and cross traffic alert. A 360-degree camera is recommended on higher trims, and BlueCruise is available on Tremor and up. The updated system also adds lane-change assist and lane-repositioning.

The main safety caveat is that some advanced driver-assistance features are not standard, so you may need to move up the trim ladder to get the full set of helpful tech.

Should I buy a 2024 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 update adds a multi-functional tailgate, a standard 12-inch touchscreen, and updated BlueCruise.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $41,665, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $45,682 average.
• It adds the Raptor R and expands the lineup.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $50,121, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $45,682 average.
• It broadens the lineup with more driver-assistance systems and a Platinum Plus package.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of updated tech, strong owner satisfaction, and a softer market, the 2024 is the smart default. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value play; if you want the newest breadth of features and don’t mind paying more, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
